The Battlesaint's starting skills likely need an update since they got buffed.

Ok. I started a new game, ran the mod and got it to work then ran my old game and got that one to work as well.

The primary problem seems to be the mod order. Some file somewhere was being overwritten by one of the 20+ other mods I had. Strangely... all of my other mods seem to be working...

Please make a note in your description that your mod needs to be loaded at the **bottom** of the mod load order.

Also, my speculation that receiving buffs (like Zeal) prohibits heroes from getting associated enchantments was correct.

This second problem was the reason I had issues isolating the problem in an old game.

I tested Ranger, Deathknight, Spellblade (dragon), and Spellblade (non-dragon).

No... I don't think any of those are the problem. I've reset heroes with 6 or 7 skill points before (default allocation with no conflicting skills is really trash) and there were no issues there.
Signature skills that give Zeal also should not be a problem, they shouldn't overwrite each other either.

Which class was it?

Oh my characters are all high level: between 8-12. So I just took skills on both sides of the tree simultaneously. Note: I loaded this mod into a game already in progress, so maybe that's where the error is. I don't have time right now to test a new game. It could also be the high level signature skills causing an error (as some of them provide zeal and could mark a character to not receive zeal).

I also just tested this with Legion of Zeal and the default Alfred Elderstone. Cannot reproduce your error whether re-casting before or after hero skills reset. Once I re-picked the Knight or Berserker skill, Zeal was reapplied.

Can you tell me which skill you were testing with?

I tested it. No, if you reset and then take the skills, you do not get the enhancements. Ending the turn doesn't change anything either.

Things also seem inconsistent, as I have seen Zeal -- through the spell Legion of Zeal through Tome of Zeal -- get reapplied to certain heroes sometimes.

The test: I reset the heroes. I then ended the Legion of Zeal spell and recast it. On recast Zeal did not reappear on any except 1 hero. Then I performed the test again and yet this time the same hero didn't get Zeal despite choosing the same skills. I do not know what is causing this inconsistency.

I'm open to taking suggestions for which classes should be which unit types. Please be aware that it is class skills that give you the unit types.

@Butcher Pete can you test if you take the class skills after resetting, do you get the enchantments afterwards?

I agree with Butcher Pete, Spellblade should be Battlemage and Fighter rather than Battlemage and Skirmisher. one of the biggest reason's for Fighter being better than skirmisher is that unit types come with specific effects which in the case of Skirmisher is the Slippery and Swift traits which means that the hero skill that grants those traits to a Spellblade is a dead skill.

On the Elder Dragon Spellblade getting arrow buffs issue...

I looked back at the old mod, and I think I see the issue: I recommend reclassifying the Spellblade as Shock or Fighter/ Battlemage. Currently it is classified as a Skirmisher/ Battlemage despite not having access to ranged weapons. That was probably just an oversight by Lumintorious.

Note: Resetting a character's skills currently removes all enchantments applied by Lumintorious's Enchantments. Ending turn does not reapply them. Recasting also does not always reapply them, though sometimes it does...

Also, sometimes the enchantments are applied incorrectly. For instance: an Elder Dragon Spellblade does not receive "Legion of Zeal" (though it should) while it DOES receive "Fiery Arrows" (which it absolutely should not).

Yes, some of the skills don't work well together. Eg. the old mage would have some of them override each other.

I'm not fixing the entire skill tree...

New Ritualist skills will apply the seemingly only for hostile wildgrowth debuffing effects to the protective wildgrowth.

Still couldn't reproduce the error. Started a Fields of Rebirth game with battlesaint fire giant with only this mod. No lag in map or in battle.

You may have to put it at the bottom of your load order. If any mod touches the starting skills of each class, they might get overwritten.

(this is why no conflicting skills and hero enchantments aren't compatible)

Any chance it would be possible to add compatibility for the Grim Jester mod {链接已删除} I much prefer your mod over the other ones that enable enchantments and it sucks missing out on it with the only good extra class mod out there.

Currently causing game hard crashes on startup with the new game update (griffon/Archon prophecy)

Has 'missing meta data' warning in launcher, just like the original (uncombined). It still worked there (haven't tested this one) but this warning isn't going away. Any idea what's causing it? I sure have no clue.

Just discovered that skills that supercede other skills (eg. Swift Restore overriding Restore) will remove the Support Unit tag. I fixed it in my mod, but here is the heads up
