scottfree001- I suggest you use the Realism sub mod with the People of Rome 2 for WOTG sub mod or the Harder Slow sub mod.

Is there a way to get rid of the infinite recruitment slots? It is the only feature I do not like. Is this a script? Is this a specific mod that was included? Thanks in advance. If there is a submod that removes this feature, that would be AWESOME.

BananenbrotBoris.>> DO NOT USE PART 1 that is messing up the game!. That is obsolete.! ONLY USE Version 11.0 part one. Then part 2 then part 3 then part 4. As for the stats- they will only show the stats from the Land Units file. They will not show the modded prices from the Difficulties file. It does not really matter. You know what they cost when you recruited them.

Hi Bran thanks for the clarification on the siege. I wonder how i never got that.


As for the formations with ladders. Yes you can not use them. But they are stiill available during Combat setup, befor you start the battle.

As for the UI, ill make some small examples and post submods that i also use.

You cannot make trade agreements with vassals. This is a bug. Your trust will return by gifting factions small amounts of money and release all hostages after battles. Or start over.

Archers and Missile units are recruited through AUX barracks. They are AUX units.

You cannot use formations when moving ladders. Reinforcing armies are on the attack. If the Ai sallies out out you do not get reinforcements...that has always been the case with Rome 2. Seperate armies all have to siege the settlement as I remember correctly. Attack cit with one army then hit continue siege ect. on all the armies. I do not know about ui bugs like that ?

3. When in combat preperation, when you equip a Legionarii with a ladder, you the Formations such as hollow square don't get blocked. (maybe they are from the formations submod) and you can still select them even though you normally couldn't within combat. Now this causes the ladders to glitch in a way that the unit now cannot drop them during combat. The glitch will position the ladder in the back of the unit instead of the front and when trying to attack the settelment walls, the Cursor will no more change to the usual animated "Attack Building Cursor" and instead display the recular "red cross Cursor" that units usually get when you hover over a Wall.

Im just going to comment, to report a few minor bugs. Please tell me if you want them to be reported somewhere else.

1. I started a cesar in gaul campain as rome as you specified because there is no save comptibility. The following bugs also occured in the same campaign. It seems like the unit recruitment cost is broken, in a way that displays prices different than those in the details screen.

2. I was besiegeing a City with one army and had two spare armies within reinforcement range. When I Started the battle, those Armies showed up as reinforcements, I even loaded into the battle to check whether it really works.

Now what I think must be a bug is, when i reloaded the save and ended my turn, the AI attacked me from within the settlement. But the same unmoved Armies now werent reinforcing.

I also have another bug to tell you about the javelins, when you upgrade them and they become archers it is impossible to recruit others afterwards they are no longer displayed in the recruitment tab

Yup. Now If the Ai is making buildings that reduce cost then the units cost go down. Ai gets unit cost reduction of 50% on Normal and amps up 20& more per campaign difficulty. Since the Ai does not know how to make money it needs help otherwise it cannot make armies.

1. Launch the Game – Start Total War: Rome II
2. Open Task Manager
Press Ctrl + Shift + Esc to open Task Manager.
Alternatively, you can right-click on the taskbar and select Task Manager.
3. Go to the Details Tab
In Task Manager, click on the Details tab at the top.
Look for rome2.exe in the list of running processes.
4. Set CPU Affinity
Right-click rome2.exe and select Set Affinity from the dropdown menu.
5. Unselect Some CPU Cores
A window will appear showing which CPU cores the game is using.
Uncheck a few cores (for example, if you have 6 cores, uncheck CPU 9 to 11).
Click OK to apply the changes.
6. Resume the Game

You can set cpu affinity in windows-no more than 3 cores. And you can set cpu cores in the appdata>roaming>the creative assembly>rome 2>scripts>preferences.scripts lines multithreaded model true. number of threads 3 or 4. not more than that. make sure that you save and click read only.

Hey BRAN sick mod!

I have some issues some time where when loading a battle i want to fight get my game stuck.. i read something about the CPU cores you have to pick. Wondering do you know how many cores i should enable ? so the game dont get stuck.

Put a navy on the trade route. Land routes I do not know. You can try and blockage coastal cites...good luck.

Doesn't matter which army stack attacks, it keeps crashing, seems it's something with the AI, as soon as I start the battle they don't even move, after a few seconds it crashes

Hi, I'm playing with Lusitanni, but when I'm defending the following settlement "Ebora" the game just crashes without any error message, just goes back to desktop
I can position my man, but when I put "start battle" it automatically crashes, hasn't happened on other settlements so far

matius yes that is correct Rome starts off with lots of money cause they are the richest faction. But you will see your money drained away fast as you make armies. You can also use the Hard Economy sub mod if you want to start off with little money.

It sounds like to me that you are missing one of the parts to the mod. Try putting all 4 parts into your Rome 2 data folder and rename each file my putting @@@ at the beginning of the file name. Then unsubscribe to all 4 parts of the mod on the steam work shop. Start the game again and then activate the new 4 parts from your data folder in the mod manager launcher. Again if it says disable out of date mods click ignore this warning.

It's very strange. The main page shows the vanilla view, but when I start the game, I get the WARS OF THE GODS-ANCIENTS WARS and Rome 2 screens overlapping. I can't select countries other than the basic ones. The game uses the mod's graphics.
