Ferren-, When do you think the mod will get updated? I would have liked to play through the game with this, but if you think it'll take some time to patch for the new version I'll just continue my save. Thanks for your hard work.

Just got into Necesse, enjoying it, and would love to give it a go with this mod and/or see many more like it!

Shame that there doesn't seem to even be a fork anywhere. I'd have loved to see these guys or even the fishian or arachnid species in 1.0.
No pressure on the author themselves, since they said they're going through a transformative time in their life, just saying my wishes.

Unsurprisingly with 1.0 release, this mod is broken. Please update to a nominally working state once you have time. Until then I shall be exploring 1.0 content. Cheers!

i haven't started the game yet, and because of this my first character will be a Neko. You rock, Thank you for your time and work to make this!

I am still around, and I do have planned updates. I will also respond to critical issues to keep my mods running. That being said, I am extremely burned out IRL. Not just because of the modding, but I am also a fresh CSCI graduate, and things have been... difficult.

one issue, i think there's a bug where, once upgrading to the third tier of workbench, tungsten, there's an issue where you can't make certain items (boss summons, walls, 3rd tier trinkets) on a dedicated server.
has been an issue since at least 1.21

also ostriches are broken on dedicated servers too

The server will need to upgraded to the most recent version of RaceMod. As far as local character saves and world saves go, versioning will take care of updating the files with the new changes.

I was playing on a server with an older version of the mod, I can't play on it anymore? Can the server be upgraded?

It's out! A huge overhaul to the mod that includes two new races. Please report anything unusual in bugs. You will see texture popping now, because textures are dynamically loaded when needed and not loaded all at launch.

I'd like to know a little more about that crash! Next time it happens, can you capture your latest log at %APPDATA%/Necesse and put it in bug reports?

AMAZING MOD
I really had no problems with him, just a small crashh where sometimes the texture becomes a colorful sound square, but that only happened to me once
(Please add drop ears like dogs, goats or rabbits, it would be so adorable !!!)

Anyone down to do some new preview pictures? Cause those pictures are oooooold. Models look a lot better now. If not... Ill eventually get to it...

New update out, fixed the ears. I decided to not do body seam blending - this will be wrapped into skin textures in a future patch. I am, however, testing a new body style.

Body seams are next! and left/right ear behind hair! and other thigns!

Update 0.0.16 is out. Please let me know if you have any issues upgrading versions. I am using a versioning system now to bridge patch updates to characters in your save files and worlds.

Also, please let me know if your performance drops steeply. I am tracking a higher consumption of memory this patch, and although I can not find a memory leak, I may need to modify the way textures are stored due to base game limitations on how many resources GameTextures use.

@Jakapoa/Ruin I will eventually document how new races can be added to this system by the player. It is very much capable of it, and even expected/planned! I just had... extra motivation... to make the newest race anthropomorphic. I am hoping to get an android race in, something similar to novakids from starbound, and more depending on how much work on sprites I can outsource to the community.

New patch is ready to go, just a little more testing. New eye sprites!

This is just the base mod that allows people to make new races. Furry is included.

Races mod = Furry mod. Cant see regular races like orc, elves, etc...
