there is a "adjust weapon" in vrmod menu, add swep there and then adjust position

Hi, I have an issue where some SWEPS like the "Customizable Flashlight" mod are not properly adjusted on my hand, I didn't had this issue few times ago and it's getting me frustrated. It's definitely not a playermodel issue since i tried them all and addons neither ( i think ). Also, I reinstalled everything and by the time, I've also did a PC reset. I don't if it's the VRMod that with updates, caused issues or it is personnal. Have a good day!

friend of mine non vr hes the host and im the one joins with vr everytime i use vr it just dont work the camera works you cn look around but it controls like a third person mode insted hands dont move its attemtpting but overll aint working any fix for this?

@Sater25, no modules needed for non vr players


@bebras, if SOME weapons do this, add them to weapons adjustment menu and press wrong muzzle button. If ALL then there is something wrong with your setup

Don't see why not. Not sure about natively, but given that mod runs on linux and there will be a new proton for arm devices, it might be even able to run standalone. PCVR should be no problem

Maybe this question has already been asked, but how do you control the car in VR? I just sit in the Glide car and can't turn the steering wheel

Also, is it possible to add something like smoothing of hand movements or at least sensitivity/speed of hands? They move too fast with weapons, unless I have to take the M249

I been trying to figure out how to reload, I thought it would work like HL2 where I can eject mag, insert and pull handle but I cant get any interactions, I havent been able to reload a single time, nothing happens when i go about the motion with mag or put ammo near where I would reload

Seems ♥♥♥♥♥♥' great! only snag I've run into is the reloading mechanics. Seems like when i bring my hand close to the weapon it just instantly reloads, And using VR weapons is impossible since i cant grab the magazine. Other than that, the Melee is fantastic and the driving is grand

Like i cannot reload at all, whenever i quit garry's mod i have to restart my pc, etc

If you're coming from another VRmod version, it is strongly recommended to reset your VRmod settings (by deleting ../garrysmod/data/vrmod and ../garrysmod/cfg folders) to avoid issues

@Sarge, try validating the game, redownload the modules. Also try deleting non x64 ones like garrysmod/lua/bin/gmcl_vrmod_win32.dll

@Sarge, check if your gmod is still on x64 branch. Recently for no f:profgenki:cking reason my gmod switched to the standard branch on it's own. Took me quite a while to notice.

@ТрапоЛино, Planned, but it turned out way more complex that I initially thought. I've communicating with the author of Xrizer... Basically I will have to rewrite modules entirely to work with OpenXR instead of OpenVR, so not any time soon, since I need to learn a lot on top of refreshing my CPP knowledge.

On the other hand this change has a potential, so I will need to bring it to Windows users as well.

@Jako-Bean not sure why multiplayer is broken, but for thr second issue try messing with rendering settings, fir example disable auto offset

@MaxV, depends. If it's something that is already present in this mod like hand physics, there will be conflicts and bugs. Otherwise it may or may not work.

so i'm not sure if this is intentional or not but my friends can't see my hands or anything that i do in VR in multiplayer, like i wasn't even in multiplayer but everything still works as it should. also, everything like shifts around when i move my head like really weirdly, i don't know how to put it

Tho, i've seen The Librarian videos and he had proper position... And it's too hard to manually adjust it... +I don't think any of my mods are conflicting but yeaaaaah...

ok so im confused on how to use the guns i load them i shoot and i hear a click? the guns in your video seems to work fine i dont know if i got the wrong guns or its just me being not able to work a gun.
