Very nice Mod, mate. Unfortanetly I cant see the Units Descriptions. It just shows the Units Emblems like Swords, Spears eg. Im using it in my Macedon Grand Campaign. Could you pls fix this? Or tell me, why its not working properly? Thank you

@Rube I plan on adding a separate chain for carthage (how the old building system had it). The new building system is much better I just miss that one part. I will add a Carthage special Merc camp that adds some more custom exclusive Merc units, as well as 2 experience ranks on recruitment.

Also thinking of allowing (through technology) the unlock of different faction units for use as generals.

hey does this only work for greeks and if so can u make it or make a separate mod that allows other factions to have it because an old mod that i used did the same as this here sept all faction but now its out of date and idk if the maker of the old mod will update it.

Greek mercenary camps are redundant. I would give them some training and merc bonus. The problem with removing them is how to stop the AI from making them. This is also a problem with creating them: how do you tell the AI to prioritize the merc buildings? They think they're getting archers and instead they get something else. I've been looking for a greek merc removal mod for a while.

@sun tzu... hiring mercs are limited bro. This gives you access to as many as you want of a certain unit in that region....

Have you ever tried to remove the merc camps? They really offer minimal benefits if cost is an issue as in DEI campaigns. What would that require?

can you make a sub mod for this mod like
"This pack will put in the custom text (were the unit names appear) changes in English for any non-English versions of the game."

just like dresden done it for his christian mod. because in the game when you click on the merc camps you can see under the text "unlocks recruitment of:"(what is in the set language) that the unit names doesnt appear.
(just the unit names doesn´t appear everything else is in the set language)

hey there Xilo. what Kevin would like you/us to do is just changing the entry inside the legendary difficulty setting forbidding the player to change the battle difficulty, not giving "Legendary" the "Very Hard" stats, which would make it so, that the difficulty "Legendary" is only Legendary by name and actually contains "Very Hard".
the entry forbidding changing of difficulties should only be a sinlge bool on 'false' to be changed to 'true'.

No Battle Realism would be optional.. Basically all of the stat and AI personality stuff can be changed to make very hard = legendary so you can then adjust battle difficulty.

However, there are certain AI behaviours that are NOT adjustable. The extent of the changes behind the scenes from VH to Legendary in this regard is unknown. So.. I'd say yes a compromise can be made for your Legendary Difficulty.

@Kevin. Sort of. It is easy to make Very Hard all the exact same difficulty settings as Legendary..

then you can change the battle difficulty.

However, it has been said before that there are certain AI paramaters that are not moddable that are linked to these difficulties that are beyond stat and view point changes.

The Merc camps are region specific as stated above. "Adds the mercenary pool to the recruitment pool depending on where you build the mercenary camp. (Functions like the Roman Aux system, however it actually gives Mercenary units.)"
