I have released an update removing the delay for selecting a slot, as well as a bit of code to ensure the slot numbering is accurate.
To lies:
See above, and I also added the ability to throw out packed resources. As a balance concern, however, packs are still limited to one per slot (since packs can have as many resources, or more, than a single slot can hold).
Hopefully these changes address your concerns as I work on adding more balance and feature changes, including (but not limited to) picking up gadgets and balancing spelunker and teleportation
To Henry:
I hope for Spelunker to eventually be a balanced alternative to engineer. Currently the slots function more or less identically to the carry lines and weight mechanic, but we will be changing things to limit the Spelunker to one large object at a time (think power cores, gadget squares, and the relic), as well as modifying the mining mechanic to be more like a combination of the engineer and assessor.
