+1 concept is nice, but this is heavily inbalanced.

This is clearly supposed to be a WC3 Lich themed tome (at least I think so), why not calling the edited Necromancer a Frost Lich or something along the lines? Also, he needs to be tuned down, he is INSANE from a T1 tome unit. Or his cost should be higher. Or the whole tome should be a T2, cause the Death Mark is also just too much for a T1 tome.

I'd have to agree with Mike the Red. I wanted to add that Death Mark is just Necrotize but strictly better, they even have the same cost, which is very low.

Frost Plague (tier I tome) is just Projectiles of Decay (tier III tome) that excludes archers/skirmishers. Making it into the regular poison DoT would be better for the level and remove the overlap.

Northern Weaponry is identical to Frost Blades. Change it to do something different, like granting +5 morale when striking frozen/slowed targets or dealing 2 frost damage to another adjacent enemy.

This is *way* too strong for a tier 1 tome.

Death mark would be decent if it inflicted decaying (the best DoT) at 90% and frozen at 60% with slow on failure and dealt no damage for 10 casting points; doing 20 damage, guaranteed decaying, 90% frozen with slow on failure, and razing the target as a zombie for only 15 casting points is insanely OP for a spell from a tier 1 tome.

The special necromancer (which should have a different name, since it's different than normal necromancers), is also crazy powerful, with a 90% chance of freezing on its default attack and also doing everything a normal necromancer does. Changing this to 8 frost + 8 poison + 30% frozen and 60% slowed on failure (get rid of the other attack) and changing its name to something like Frostbite Mage or Icecavern Hermit would make it much more in line with typical units.

I also am getting a visual bug with the battle mage skeletons specifically.

Hi Ender, I have a strange bug. When your tome is active, both vanila and modded necromancer models are heavily bugged, when i turn off your mod - vanila necroman come back to normal. Can be result of other mods conflict (heavily modded game), I'll try to find out who is causing the problem

Hmmm...the tier 2 skeleton mages could have an ability that boon strips 2 buffs while doing decent damage to a single target...unit enchantments could proc off this ability...

Nice Work! I just wish someone would make a mod dealing with undead in a non monster / evil undead setting. A ' Noble Dead' / Ancestor worship setting would be welcome. Personal ranting aside, nice powerful tome. Works great.

It does and it doesn't. It's mostly just a modded Tome of Necromancy but I added things from the other tomes that I enjoyed playing with early game as well as start the process of making more cold themed tomes. This mod was going to stay a personal mod but I was told I should upload it. I mostly play fast paced games with low turn count so while, yes, I can grab all 3 of the T1 tomes in a longer game, I wouldn't be able to play how I personally wanted in the amount of turns it usually take for the games to end.

Does this tome provide similar effects to the tomes of necromancy, cryomancy, and the horde or does it outright take the spells from those tomes and put them into one tome? If the latter then I don't see the point of this mod. It's already possible to research three or more tier one tomes in a game by selecting "show tome library" when selecting a new tome.
