I just added the Kenworth T600 by Hammy. It will be in the update that should appear this weekend. I also added the T600 to my Truck Fixes mod which fixes the door glass, bad audio inside the cab, missing gps and dashboard files, and adds support for the interior shadows option. RAIDERf7, no update is needed. There is no specific version listed in this mod like many other mods have. When a new version of the game is released, this mod continues to work OK. Go ahead and update to 1.56.

Yeah, it was like the headlights were mounted inside the fenders back by the tires. They were way out of alignment. They were off a little on the White too, but not so noticeable.

And you fixed the back-lighting issue on the B61... so awesome !

Unfortunately, that is a pirated copy of the 352 and not from the original author. KSW has his own website where he sells the Pete 352. I can add it if enough donations came in for the truck so I could buy it legitimately. As for the fuel tanks, I'm not interested in doing that one, sorry.

I was trying to figure out ModStudio2... but my pea-brain imploded.
Don't mean to add more to your plate, but I was thinking.. your so good at these headlights, you ever consider doing an expanded fuel tanks for mod trucks? There's plenty for regular SCS trucks but I cant find any for mod trucks.

Bomkat, sorry about the delay on the 3 trucks last weekend, the update I was working on wasn't working out too well. So, I completely revamped some stuff and it is working out better than ever. I'm doing a lot of testing with many different trucks today and not finding any issues. After a few more hours of testing, I hope to get this uploaded to Steam later tonight.

Be careful, that CRS can be contagious. I noticed that GMC and will likely add that one soon, maybe even today since I got delayed on getting this update finished yesterday. Some friends came over and spent the rest of the afternoon and evening.

The Mack B61, White WC-22, and the Pacific P500F are in the new update and have been road tested. I have just a couple more road tests to do in ATS and several road tests to do in ETS2. The updates should be on Steam later tonight if all goes well. (The White was actually $10, but that's OK, it was worth it.)

@maurice... Was hoping to add the Mack B61 by MTG & SMRS (allmods.net) the White WC-22 (Bormanns Performance) both free. I love the old trucks..... but man, their headlights.... not so good. This headlight mod in particular is just awesome because it works with so many mod trucks which means can use fewer mods ! ( we all know how too many mods goes )

namwea, my headlights don't add any additional lights to the trucks. They take the place of the lights that come standard on the trucks. So, I can't add any other types of lights such as the purplish xenon. If a truck comes with xenon lights, it will now have my version of the xenon lights. Currently, there is only one truck in this collection that offers xenon lights, the Haterbilt.

thats good alternative for blind original ona. furthermore can you add real blue xenon and purplish xenon like 10-12k?

No answer from Ruda yet. The Classic XL is made possible through donations. I received enough to cover about half of it and I took care of the rest. The Coronado might be the next one. This morning, I put about 500 miles on the Classic XL during night time driving while testing the headlights. It's a pretty nice truck.

Absolutely right maurice! Very unrealistic ...

I got the Superliner from DielingWu (also known as VD Modding) installed and did a delivery using the stock headlights. I have to give him credit for trying to make them better than most modded trucks. He is basically using high beams for the low beams but changing the angle and brightness to make them more like low beams. You can see forward OK, but turning into a dark street or entry is not easy. The other thing I don't like about most stock headlights is the fading. They shine forward for a certain distance and then just stop. Everything beyond that point is dark. My headlights keep fading off into the distance.

Anyway, I got the Superliner added to my mod and did another delivery. Big difference in visibility as I expected. The Superliner is now fun to drive at night. This will be in my next update which will be released as soon as SCS releases the 1.55 open beta for ATS. Meanwhile, I'm still working on this update with some fine tuning to the headlights.

CarlosMMM, I will check out the Superliner and if it works OK on my system, I will add it in the next update. I'm guessing it will run OK since it originated from Harven's Mack R.

As a reminder to everyone, I am more than willing to take requests for new trucks to add to my mod. However, I can't do trucks that cost money unless it is one that I really want for myself. I also won't obtain a truck from a pirated source, it must come from a source that is approved by the original author of the truck. I don't do Facebook and never will, so I can't get trucks from Facebook unless the original author can somehow provide a different download link for me.

Hey man, would it be possible to add support for VD modding's Mack Superliner in a future update? The mod is free on his patreon.

Maverick,the next update has even slightly better visibility when turning and when approaching a dark intersection. I'm holding off releasing it until 1.55 is at the open beta stage in both ATS and ETS2. It also has slightly improved high beams. So far, there is one new truck added to the ETS2 modded version.

Your´re the first modder, that really seems to have a solution to this matter!

Maverick, late last week, I sent an email to Jon Ruda asking him if he would be willing to provide the rest of his trucks to me at no charge since I have had a number of requests to provide support for them. I haven't heard back as of yet.

Hello Maurice, your mod adresses a issue I have since I started driving in ETS2 and ATS. Turning in the night is per default like turning into a black hole. Zero visibility. I was quite happy when I found your mod(s) a few minutes ago but sadly both trucks in my fleet (Ruda´s 389 Glider and Freightshaker Classic XL) are not supported, so sadly your mod has no effect.

Ruda´s Trucks have an optional (for changes) open def. Do you think I might be able to change the lighting with a few hints from your side?

Shurly the best solution would be the implementation from your side but I understand that you cannot buy each payed truck ...

Normally I really like to drive in the night (also IRL) but it´s no fun if you have to guess your turns on the road or on dark company sites in the night.

wictorych62, if you are talking about Jon Ruda's Freightliner Coronado, no, it is not supported by my mod. In order to support it, I would first have to buy the truck mod from Ruda. I might try contacting Ruda to see if he would consider donating the rest of his trucks to me so I could include them in this mod.
