Is it expected that in mission 3, the enemy carrier has basically no fighters, only being able to launch helicopters? It also seems a bit weird how few missiles that they launch, only doing 1-2 at a time, waiting for them to get shot down, then repeating this.

I watched a video of the first mission from the author of the mod..he has 2 ships 2 fighters and the recon plane..when i start i only have the 1 arleeigh burke 2 pegasus and the recon..did he change it from the video?

Ok, that’s it. The first mission isn’t great. It’s very entertaining, and I’ve tried it multiple times — it’s definitely a challenge — but it’s not very well balanced, and in the end, it mostly comes down to luck whether you can finish it or not.

Suggestions: place the main ship a little farther away from the action, give the player more room to prepare a strategy before being swarmed by missiles from everywhere. Move the other assets a bit closer to the action — it’s fine to have them slightly “out of position”.

Add a second (lightly armored, if you don’t want to make things too easy) ship to the main formation. That way, if your main ship is damaged, you still have a chance to complete the mission. Right now, you need perfection.

Obviously, it’s your campaign, so it’s up to you to design it as you like. But it’s a shame that such an action-packed mission ends up feeling so frustrating and random.

@AstroPub That feature has been disabled due to that mod being broken. I will bring it back once it has been fixed.

You are not meant to actually land troops but instead destroy all units on the island to trigger victory

You told to disable the Definitive Disembark mod, but in mission 4 I need to capture the island and I have a small aircraft carrier with ground units on board. I’ve never used Definitive Disembark before — how do I deploy the units to the ground? I tried, but they basically just disappear.

Ok this time it didn't crash but a little over halfway the Burke sunk to the bottom and stayed there. Fully alive just couldn't move

Without any way to locate the western Anti ship batteries due to the s400 site and having no way to locate and kill said s400 basically made the first mission into a deppressing slug fest where you have to manage every single anti air missile and run away praying to roll good rng. I think 1 burke vs 15 ships might be a little bit overturned.

Mission 4: At least 2 of the missile launchers on the shore of Kish Island are either in the water or under the island itself, making them indestructible while still able to launch against player ships. Also some of the fuel depots are indestructible for some reason, dunno if it's the base game itself or a bug from the mission.

Mission 4, Its probably a good idea to add Airfield with small number of planes for blue sides, my F-15 got bingo fuel just when the coast is clear and i'm about to utilize the Ground atk loadout

@cent, not really to be honest, maybe able archer 83 causes ♥♥♥♥ to hit the fan in west Germany, hopefully from the soviet perspective. the soviets are just so fun to play, esp the Sovy and Udaloy

Imo this is the definitive take on an Iran-US conflict in Sea Power. So many others have tried, but this is the best. Awesome job!
