Some oddness - Slave was captured by Archons and carried off.
Came back some time later but:

1. She didn't show up in the colony bar anymore? Colonists continued to treat her as a salve though. (Suppression)
2. She was an Archon now???

Thank you for this mod! I thought my run was over when my 'main character' got kidnapped during a raid. I downloaded your mod, and a few days later, my guy came back after convincing a guard to let him go (and bringing the guard with him back to my colony).

Just one piece of advice: The text of the notification was poorly formatted with some typos. If this could be improved, it would make the mod even better.

Will this mod work if a colonist was kidnapped before it was added, or will it only count future kidnappings?
If so, would devmode spawning a captured colonist and re-recruiting them, then devmode kidnapping them make it work?

Can't you expand this mod to count any non mising, not dead colonist as kidnaped? or make the mod work for all ocassions? :dv_nuclear::steamthumbsup:

depending on some other stats, the colonist should have a tiny chance to be desensitized upon their return, having undergone probably a torturous journey.

Just a funny idea, gave me doomguy/terminator vibes.

Does the mining check cause them to burrow out of the ground like flesh beasts? That would be kinda funny. I know spoilers and all but I'd like to see the different ways they can come back before using the mod.

Yeah I was also curious with Odyssey would they still return to the colony even if it moved and flew in a gravship to say... the other side of the planet? Logically they should have no way of knowing where everyone went.

I liked the mod — it actually saved my second-best colonist’s life!

However, there are a few issues:

When the colonist returned, her name was set blue and the colonist's bar at the top hadn't returned, like she wasn't part of the colony. Character Editor also did not recognize her as part of the colony. I could still control and draft her, but it was a really weird experience. Saving and Loading fixed this issue.

The event does not end the negative thought of the colonist being lost if they had positive opinion on them (my friend lost, my lover lost, my family member lost), only the neutral "colonist lost" is removed. Even the

Lastly, I don't mean to be rude, but the english could be slightly improved upon. The punctuation is kind of weird. [imgur.com]

One thing I'd change about this mod is that it seems a little cold-hearted for a pawn to just escape and not help other prisoners escape on their way out. As such, I'd suggest making it so you add a a chance that one or two of those people, or maybe even the kidnappers themselves to join around when the kidnapped pawn manages to get back to the player's base.

Also, I'm picturing a parallel mod that I would call "Come Get Me" as it's similar to what's here, but the pawn in question doesn't feel comfortable escaping on their own, but they did manage to get to a comms console, a smoke signal fire pit, or some other form of messaging installation and are using it to send their friends a distress signal.

Gotta admit, I need this since I'm playing with CAI 3000 with fog of war on and all silent raids, kidnapped pawns happen frequently with this brutal setup. In any case, this mod is GREAT.
