You can DI or tech out of normal up smash immediately. Empowered up smash launches enemies away on the first hit. Forward smash, forward air, back air, & down air are too weak. Forward smash & side special's low angles make them techable even at extremely high %. Up special takes way too long to start. Empowered up special travels so far it's a downgrade.

@Conway: The complaint isn't that B reversing exists. It's that it happens long after you've stopped tilting the stick.

Not surprising, I guess. This game does have some basic things that are specifically programmed to not work for no reason.

I think this is more of a Rivals mechanics issue. I tried doing the same thing with Zetturburn and he did turn around using NSpecial even though I let go of the stick.

If I jump backward without turning around & then I stare at Jester while he's in the air to make sure he hasn't turned around & my thumb is off the joystick & then I use neutral special, he just turns around anyway & breathes fire in the wrong direction.

Conversely, if I'm not touching the joystick & then someone hits me from behind & I try to use neutral special in the opposite of the direction I'm being launched in, Jester refuses to turn around.

Cool to see down air fixed & some buffs.

Down air doesn't work at the top of the screen but still makes the sound & costs points.

@Maker Man: They're referring to when people post copypastas demanding "LGBTQ+ representation" in games (usually ones where it doesn't apply or is already there) to bait people into giving them jester awards. A lot of people do the reverse too. Post "anti-woke" nonsense on unrelated games just so people will get mad & give them jester awards.

For example, you could be talking about a Tetris game & someone will post an essay about how grateful they are that it has no "woke" content. Usually in big light blue text for some reason.

Fun character. Way more complex than i expected. I think I found a bug though. If you try to charge down special while you have Steam Power but down special is already active, your cooldown still resets even though you weren't able to charge.

finally a reason to play this game again lol
