Hi, I really like your mod. I really like the idea of ​​having to repair the mech before going down, but with FU I noticed the following problems: when the mech is destroyed for the first time, even if you repair it using the autochip from RobRepairo, the mech can no longer be destroyed. I also noticed that if you use the autochip from your hand, it only tells you the health percentage without doing any repairs. You always have to use the pistol that comes with FU, and that wouldn't be the problem. I noticed that when it doesn't explode and you try to repair it, it doesn't repair because the pistol doesn't work, but because the health drops below 0 and it takes longer for the life bar to reappear. Is there anything that can be done about the indestructibility problem? As for the problem with the autochip that only gives the health percentage, I don't see that as a problem. You have to consume an autochip to heal it.

Honestly, I'd recommend that auto-refill on deployment still stay in, but make it capped at 1-10%. Enough for you to act and not have the mech blow up in your face and wonder what the heck to do, but not enough for you to just keep lazily brute forcing your way through encounters.

This mod causes the mech to explode on deployment after it was destroyed once. Doesn't play nice with the armor and BL shield mods.

That's odd. I have used this mod with FU and despite the comments I've seen, My mech doesn't drain to death. It does mean I need to repair it with a repair tool every once in a while, but honestly it gives those tools and the repair pod thing more of a purpose. Auto chips become a way to basically bring the mech back from destruction, from there you can repair pod it as long as you're in an environment your mech can survive.

I found that using this mod with FU will probably alter the way how mech health works as their hitpoints cannot be refueled when deployed, thus making mechs useless.

I would like to report an unusual issue: This mod has some weird bug with Project45 in that the Ammo and reload indicators do not show up at all. The weapons are otherwise fully working.

Honestly, I would keep this mod, but the unintentionally hidden change to mech HP kills it. Why on earth would a 'Mech Color' mod, a decoration/cosmetics mod, change how the HP works as well?! That sounds something more like for the 'Mech is made out of armor' mod rather than this one!

Not sure how this bug or mod conflict can happen: I was unable to throw the rope (the one time grappling hook item). After resub this mod and required mod, it become fixed.

Doesn't seem to keep energy levels between deployments, unless you need Mech Overhaul for that?

Or does going back to your ship gives it a full heal?

also it seams just unintsaling and then reinsatling the mech core and compmdly loader mods also fixes this bug for a while at least on mac os and mac os x. if you want to know how to fix it temrpaerly.

I dont know if this is a bug but I am unable to do th mech drive test and the obstacle course (no mech and no techs)

I could fix the mod load order, trying to simply load after MO and FU via priority instead of reference, I had similar bugs while making the mods and changing a couple values worked well.

This mod doesn't add any part slots to the mech GUI, those are from "Cosmetic Mech Slots" and "Mech Overhaul", FU uses the upgrade slot as the horn slot. (Similar to the Mech Armor mod)
It only modifies the color bar to display the color segments.

if not then it will be a easy fix for the mod auther to take into aconut of frekan universe mech bay gui due to it being the same as mech overhul witha very slight gui cosmetic difreasces.

so in a nutshell it works at 95% compablty but it needs the last 5% of teh mod for fraken universe needs a frkaen universe gui interface adjusetent so the frkane univers gui shows the extra adable slots that are not accesable by defalt. this is a easy fix. all the code is already there for the most aprt.

huh well i can have steam handle that maybe or juts adjust the mod laod order on your end so it just laods after fraken universe a bit. or you could just implent a sprate gui interface for fraken univese that adds those slots just for when fraken universe is installed so it sueds it own detcaded gui for frkaen universe. like the fraken universe gui is bacly uses that exact same baseline of code as mech overhule so you can just make a deteced fraken universe gui visural atacment script that adds thsoe extra slots. well frkane universe did the whole mech overhule codeing that soonr or later became its own standlone seres of mods acatly that your ameking right now uses that exact same line of code logic on github bacly. so this is a veryeasy bug to fix.

okay i have done some testing with fraken universe gui but the top and extra part modle spaces/ upgade slots don't show up in the freken universe mech gui for now. but all the other stuff in the mod for the most partt like the coloring detals and the atuochip reapire sistem still acatly works. it just needs it own frken universe gui modfaction gui for mod cosscompalty. we just need this extra bit more ajustmants spcialy for frken uiverse gui this is speicaly just if the mod is inlsatled with someone useing fraken universe . this mod just needs to add onto the allready exresting frkane universe gui for fraken universe mech gui to be ajusted a litle bit for the addonal extra modules mech part and other modle slots to be add onto the fraken universe gui is the only tweeking it realy needs. but this extra gui could just bea mod addon for frkane universe users for the frkaen univers mech gui can be justa seprate addon mod thats just for fraken universe gui adjuments.

also if oyu have frekan universe instaled you don't need mech overhule bascly due to the fact frkane universe techly has mech overhul init and this was before mech overhule wasa seprate mod from what i rember for the most part. also don't need atuo chips for repair if you got a fraken universe mech repair tool fully upgraded wit hrepair rate that scales up with cartcer atack power rateing as well.

Using the "Auto chip" from Penguin Pete should work, it just needs ti be used by clicking on it like a gun.

How do I repair my mech if it's lost all it's health? I can't spawn it in as it instantly explodes, and I can't seem to find any info on how to heal it in such an edge case the mod description...

I can't see my mech's health being damaged? And that's confusing to me, since I shouldn't have any mods that effect how the mech's health is shown besides the Mech Core mods.

Should be compatible, this mod doesn't contain any part changes.
Though, the amount of "Energy" and "Defense" bits may be different if they were less or more than 10.

I wonder if this is compatible with a small mod I made for the Protectorate mech body found here https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3030668179 , if not it shouldn't be too hard for either mod to be patched (unlike FU where it overhauls the modular mech system so much that even my tiny patch file breaks)
