Awesome mod! I love the decadence mechanic. This is how many dynasties died out IRL. This mod needs more subs!

@kudashkins You need the Matriarch/Patriarch trait (Diplomacy Lifestyle) for the decision to appear.

Where is the decision? Am I stupid? I can't see it — but the decadence is there.
The mod is the last in the load order, start date is 1178.
Also, sometimes I switch the player character because I'm trying to fix the most ahistorical situations — so I pick every character from a dynasty with decadence, but none of them have the decision.

after removing this from my saved game, barely anyone can get kids even having fertility levels above 71% while my spoouses has 100% fertility I had to use debug to get a child. Seems like my entire saved game is gone for bc of this. Or I can be wrong

Hey just gonna say this, I think your mod is broken a little bit. There is extra "}" in the decision file in the "ai_will_do". What it does, it creates new decisions in the window called "}_desc" which constantly spam error log when decisions tab is open and lowers optimization

A good way to stop decadence could be to print money (or mint new coins - more medieval) in exchange for inflation, for example +x% to the prices of everything

A decision that opens up when you have certain traits and high stats as well as a specific amount of gold and prestige could be a good way to stop decadence or at least halt it

Nice idea. I do think that yeah, there should be ways to end (or at least temporarily pause) decadence, with difficulty perhaps. An especially capable ruler can help while an incompetent one can onset or worsen decadence.
