描述
Tired of seeing the same old dynasties from the game start dominate?

Well this is the mod for you!

[How it works]
Every year, the mod checks for any dynasties with a splendor level above six. If any dynasty meets this check, it will apply a modifier to it that gives it maluses to vassal opinion, fertility, martial, and stewardship. However, to show that the dynasty has applied its focus to court politics, the modifier will also grant it buffs for intrigue, learning, and scheme success.

If a dynasty happens to reach even higher splendor levels, it will receive the Great Decadence modifier, which ramps up the previously applied debuffs.

It is important to note that this WILL affect your dynasty, and in order to reverse the decline, a great ruler skilled in diplomacy, stewardship, and martial must achieve this!

Awesome mod! I love the decadence mechanic. This is how many dynasties died out IRL. This mod needs more subs!

@kudashkins You need the Matriarch/Patriarch trait (Diplomacy Lifestyle) for the decision to appear.

Where is the decision? Am I stupid? I can't see it — but the decadence is there.
The mod is the last in the load order, start date is 1178.
Also, sometimes I switch the player character because I'm trying to fix the most ahistorical situations — so I pick every character from a dynasty with decadence, but none of them have the decision.

after removing this from my saved game, barely anyone can get kids even having fertility levels above 71% while my spoouses has 100% fertility I had to use debug to get a child. Seems like my entire saved game is gone for bc of this. Or I can be wrong

@IratePirate watch eastern roman history's video on him it really does him justice, while he definitely wasnt the best emperor he is not the worst, its called "was Honorius really the worst roman emperor"
