However it should not happen in a storage building. Ill fix that.
Zone outside full of stonebricks. Gets covered up. They disappear... Good so far.
My people start putting new bricks there. Which displaces those that "disappeared" so when they get uncovered the pop up all around and outside the stockpile zone.
Same thing happening with other items in shelves outside- the snow is covering them up and they start putting new items on the same shelf.
Gets frustrating, real fast, having to wait for the caravan to passively clear snow from the battlefield with a raid timer telling me 8 gorrillion pigmen are on the way to kindly smash their pretty little heads in
(As in instead of snow sand covers items.)
"What's the lump over there in the snow?"
"That? Oh, that's just Fred. We're going to resurrect him after the spring thaw."
I think stasis sounds like a nice idea but it would probably make more sense as a feature of like a hibernating xenotype race instead
