This version introduced a bug for dedicated servers, which can't properly match the '.' character in the filename to client versions of the mod. Renaming the file to Trusty_Research_v1_1.dm on both server & all clients will fix the issue.

If you enable score graphs in the game settings and check the AI nation's research on score graphs on the second turn, you should be able to see whether the AI is using wisps.

They get the wisps.
Whether they use them or not is anyone's guess.
