某种角度上来说，没有比这更好的游戏了

This game is too complicated to explain in a review. Simplifying it enough to cover it in broad strokes feels like it would miss the point; this is a mechanically extremely deep game with dense and developed systems.

Nonetheless, I will make a brief attempt.

You have extreme control over some aspects of the game (macro-scale movement, deity customization, spell research), while in other ways must learn to understand how your limited control will have ripple effects as situations play out (troop positioning for automated battles in combat, or learning to prepare for and deal with the consequences of brutal random events).

If you want to play a 4X game where the endgame looks like trying to equip, deploy, and manage the automated casting of dozens of individual units each of which possesses power that could be considered comparable to a D&D 3.5e high-level Wizard as you watch them play out battles of incomprehensible devastation with ultra-low-quality indie graphics, then this is a game for you. If what I said instead sounds like a nightmare hellscape, you may want to pick a different game.
