Is there a way to enable a free play for the map? The restrictive mode really should be an optional thing. Let us use the map as a map

i wouldnt recommend playing in multiplayer, as the map and original game where only intended for 1 player. I would need to rewrite all the maps logic again, so this feature would most likely not be added. You are welcome to try, but do know that the maps magic will be lost, and there will be alot of bugs. :)

Does this map support multiplayer at all? If it doesn't, what're the chances of it being added in the future? Going through this with a friend would be a BLAST!

Hey, thank you for the comment! I appreciate the honesty, while I don’t agree with all the choices made by the original devs, I had to just take it and remake it. This is more to just give people who have not played the original (with the exception of the last area) as I could not implement it within source reasonably. I will be looking into the lag created in this area, I’m aware of a certain spot but not the entire hallway being laggy. Thank you for playing.

First of all, good job. Can't imagine how much effort went into creating this map.
However, the very concept of solving puzzles without any questions asked or plot purpose pointed out is stupid. "Yeah player, go click e on everyting, look everywhere maybe you get something maybe not" -level stupid. The reason I couldn't complete this map is the "clock" loop where you (as I read at original game playthruogh guide) should wait a little, do a backflip, clap 5 times, do 10 steps or something like that to get through. And worst of all, this corridor starts lagging more and more with each entering like map keep loading itself everytime you start again. The last bug report is about that, I believe. So when I tried everything (waited, gouged eye out, knocked the door, waited again, clicked everywhere) I couldn't stand 8 FPS and gave up. Not scary, not fun, just annoying.
It would be much better if you created original map with the same concept but thoughtful puzzles.

No, as the original game was not either. My map has no intention of multiplayer. Its Garry's mod. I cant force single-player, brute-force it all you want, but it will ruin the scripting, map events and the atmosphere. do as you wish, but please do not complain when its broken.
