When I select Ice Age and start a new settlement, I get a bug where the screen overlaps infinitely as the rim is created. If I start with a vanila default setting, no problem.
If you're already looking at it, could you please see if there's an option to put that back?
If I use the dev tools to add the game condition during the game it shows as the only game conditon and the effect works
I have two notifcations about the rogue planet but the dev tools only show one
So it might be that the game condition isn't triggering right when it's added in as a starting game condition, once I added it myself the temps dropped approximately what I expected (I've been running this mod since the original released lol)
But I'm also running into being 2 years in and the temp hasn't shifted at all, something to look for definitely
SoS2, in the newer version at least, don't allow you to just go straight to other planets.
Instead, it lets you save your ship and crew to be loaded in a new scenario, which is where you can change all the settings and mods and stuff for a new experience.
2. Will the temperature eventually cap out when reaching absolute zero?Or does it go into non-physical temperatures?
3. Do these events follow you if you use something like SoS2 to move to a different planet? Or will the game switch off something like Rogue Planet if you literally go to another planet?
4. Will biomes and the world map change in response to the new temperatures?
Either way, this is one of my favorite mods, thanks for updating!
and fucking cool
