Can you make it use the player's actual faction that it says they are (e.g.) using mods i change my faction to combine, can you make it detect that?

Having the ability to change player faction would be really nice. It would pair greatly with mods changing the players default faction, and would improve the overall experience of this mod!

i keep spawning Father Grigori and they keep despawning with the reinforcement animation.

Are some combine reinforcements spawning under the map on gm_construct for anyone else?
They spawn under the hill next to the ramp and the secret room, summon combine reinforcements and noclip under there.

I'll just revert any changes that were made regarding the last update. If it's still corrupted then it might be a different mod.

some weird issue is occuring where your addon has corrupted itself and now just cant be removed anymore

That's not supposed to happen and in the current source code no debug printing remains (and that should've been the case in the currently active version too). I just updated it again, hopefully it should now be fixed? If not, there is a chance your version just refuses to update.

I would love to use the addon, but it spams the console of my dedicated with debug messages every 20 seconds.

It looks like:

antlion 1
combine 1
zombies 1
citizen 4

Is there a way to disable this?
And if I wanted to modify the addon to spawn other NPC´s, where would be the right place to start looking?

This was one of my first mods and not well put together, I will likely remake it from scratch in the future so that everything can be properly configured.

That and they spawn a bit too often in NPC battles, turning strength to like.. 0.1 helps but in doing that its just nothing but metrocops.

An option to prevent Hunters from spawning would be nice, they get stuck in things when using this mod in a more closed indoor map.

can you add npc selection so for each faction you can pick what gets spawned in and also make this work with custom npcs, and also can you add an option to change the amount of time it takes for the reinforcement to spawn in once the teleportation starts it is way too slow in my opinion

Maybe also add so there is for the npc spawn there would be a set the chance that a specific npc spawns

Also could you maybe do so the "[Entropy: Zero 2] Xen Grenade" has a chance to trigger the reinforcement also that could be cool maybe make an option where it can be chosen if its a random faction or if its resistance, or any other faction

it seems to work for me, maybe try the options tab instead? It has a button to restart the whole mod in case something like this happens.

I would suggest adding a weapon override setting for spawned npc's instead of hard coding what they spawn with. Otherwise 10/10 mod. Great job!

Fixed some major issues with the mod that caused it to stop working at random. It should now be consistent.

Also added some of the more simple suggestions such as disabling the player being able to call reinforcements, disabling specific factions, radius that reinforcements can be called, and so on.

can we have an option to disable friendly reinforcement spawning? essentially disabling reinforcements for the player's side, but without having to increase the player's strength because that biases the system to spawn only elite combine units (elites, hunters) with little variety

Hey man! I really like your mod! Could I suggest adding a reinforcement customization feature so people can add, say NPCs from addons like Resurgence or any other NPCs? I hope this becomes possible, this mod has lotta potential (unless there's already a way)

can you please make it so that its easier to tell between portals, for instance i was fighting combine alone when a friendly portal spawned, the combine and rebel portal look the same so i threw a grenade under it and killed the rebels

Did you set the player strength to low or enable ignore players? Try spawning some combine elites vs a couple headcrabs and see if the zombies get reinforcements through Xen portals.
