Okay so the thing there is this: If they don't have the buttons, yeah they'll swarm in, but they'll only stay there for a few seconds before being 'satisfied' and going somewhere else.

With the buttons, not only do they block said button but they also just kinda stand stupidly outside of the door until they're let in (which can only be done by disabling tileprotection or teleporting into the room.)

So yeah, adding the button didn't really solve the problem, it just made it worse.

if I do that then all the NPCs swarm inside of it, I added the buttons specifically to block them from entering

I think instead of removing the breakroom entirely you could just remove the button and floorbutton. Because like Rnova2 says, it's not the room itself that's bothersome, it's the NPCs all trying to dogpile into it and not being able to enter/exit it that's the problem.

I think the room wasn't really bothersome, what was bothersome was that an absurd amount of NPCs were trying to enter that room at the same time, which caused the bug where the door got stuck and made it impossible to access it, if only they would replace the door with a more suitable one...

It does not in the game, but the effects of asbestos dust inhalation might

Oh, this is something that Maple32 adds? I haven't tried that mod yet, so that's why I haven't seen the room that removes this mod, I guess xD

nah jokes aside reason i didnt like it was that it conflicted with other mods that had a room near that space in the outpost

Idk the only thing I didn't like about this room was that the door had to be opened with a button... and NPC that will hide this button behind their bodies, trying to enter the room

people getting mad over a room for no reason is wild other than the bug issues

Many people just really didn’t like it, and some had issues with sky’s outpost and such (already works with anom’s though)
