You need to let the starter get the engine up to speed before using the throttle. If you look at the dial youll see it start properly at 127 rpm, at which point you are free to throttle up and down as you like.

@Nova mine is built 1905 it is a steam tug also mine is not a harbor tug mine is a canal tug

you can just jump into it but crouch-jumping takes less precision. Alternatively you can just enter the helm from outside the wheelhouse

@choucydog I have witnessed Nova make this creation from the beginning, I promise you they did not copy your creation, their boat wasn't even fully classified as a tug until shortly before release. Like nova already said you can't claim a boat design, you're not the first to make a boat of that era and you're not the last, get over yourself.

- harbor tugs
- from a similar era in time
- of central/northern european origin
other than that i honestly do not see how it is "eerily similar" to yours. A lot of tugs like this have this general layout. (especially if you look at old dutch tugs)

Even if they did look very similar, 2 boats based on similar concepts will obviously look similar, you cant really claim a century old boat design like that.

no it doesnt? Both are tugboats and look like tugboats. And if you look at them they only have a vaguely similar proportions (as if they were both modelled after tugboats), yours is even twice the size with a pretty different layout. This community is fairly big and if i had to go after everyone who made something vaguely similar to me i wouldnt have time to actually play the game. Please think a little harder before you come screaming into my comments.
