hey is there a way to lower the amount of radars?

Does the vehicle have other grids connected by hardpoints? if so, its that, also do you mean it was constantly firing chaff? this shouldn't be possible as it will only fire chaff when a target is moving towards it faster than 50m/s so I have no clue why that is happening, if you want, put the vehicle on the workshop and i will have a look

i got a problem that whenever i spawn the vehicle that included this thing on, it kept lock on target and firing, and i dont know what the problem and when i look in the radar screen, i saw a red dot and it is right next to me, idk if it the radar problem or the vehicle am using.

nevermind sorry, the minimum distance is actually in meters not kilometers!!! and i believe its for the missile detection so it doesnt detect subgrids on your vehicle

this is similar to a radar (in the way that it shows targets on a screen) but, this lacks the capability to lock targets or get anything but an approximate distance and relative position from it.

yep the minimum distance is in kilometers, also if i remember correctly, the rotating radar does not have to be the same speed - though i found at higher speeds its more innacurate and skips over targets. sorry for the late response, i was having some trouble with my computer, i hope you enjoy!

this would work for it but unfortunately stormworks radars suffer from very limited range, this only has a range of 300 odd meters iirc... maybe with the new mods we can extend radar range though

I gues this would easily work as a TCAS system aswell? Would love to see a version with on/off outputs, in combination with the aviation warning sound mod you could implement the entire system, even if its just TCAS I (traffic advisory only)

does the radars have to specifily have to be the exact distance from each other as in this example

you can use the selection tool to move the radars and buzzers around, you dont really need to install the autochaff system. but remember, the 3x3 monitor and its camera is not meant to be visible, only the 1x1 monitor is

i was kinda stretching it with the MAW but it does have 360 coverage for missiles so ill count it
