How do i switch between skill trees if a pawn has more than 1 class? I have a death knight/faceless assassin and i can only access the Faceless skill tree

Not sure where to report this "bug" but ill drop it here just in case,
After getting Ideology the necromancers zombies have lost their ability to be sent off in a caravan on their own with the claim that you cant just send a "slave" alone,
They need a "non slave" to tag along to control them or some such error, Since the zombie isn't a living slave it should be able to be sent off like it was before Ideology...

Thanks, it's actually changed once since 1.6 has released as well. I've recompiled all assemblies against the latest build and updated this mod to version 1.0.4.

Error in JecsLite - A RimWorld of Magic:

System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: void Verse.GenExplosion.DoExplosion(...)
This occurs because the mod is still calling the old 1.5 signature of GenExplosion.DoExplosion, which no longer exists in RimWorld 1.6.

You can run either, I believe an error is thrown with JecsTools now but it can be ignored.

Try unsub/resub from RimWorld of Magic, I just had to do that myself to get it to update.

Reportedly, Torann is presently working on the 1.6 update for RWoM, so it'll happen at some point (hopefully soon).

RWOM is a huge, incredibly-complicated mod. It's going to take a little time. I updated this so they didn't have to wait on JecsTools if they so choose, but everyone needs to be patient.

Been a minute, has Dorito's fix on the previous page been implemented or was it left out because it actually broke things? I certainly wouldn't mind being able to use vehicles alongside magic again.

Don't use both. If you have multiple mods that need JecsTools, use the full suite. This is tested against RWoM only, other mods are likely to need other components.

What if others mods require Jecstools?
Is it safe to just keep this one? Or is it only for RWoM?
Alternatively, if I use both, then does it decrease performance impact of Jecstools?

Thank you so much for this mod! Rimworld World of Magic is one of my all time favorite mods and key parts of it are broken due to JecsTools. With this mod, RWoM works perfectly and fixes all of the issues!!

I can't do anything about RimPy's database, just ignore it. You'd need to edit the About.xml of RWoM, dependencies.

RimPy keeps warning me that RWoM is missing JecsTools when I sort, what do I need to edit so RWoM will demand JecsLite and not JecsTools?

@Zaljerem While I never got around to fully testing it, I made a change in the past to Jecstools that allowed me to run RWOM and Vehicle Framework together without issues. Copypasting comments I left in the Vehicle Framework discord in case it's something you would like to do for this mod. I hope this helps!

So seemingly the targeting issue with RWOM happens in the JecsTools method BeginTargetingWithVerb under the file Command_PawnAbility. Commenting out the line that sets the targeter's caster allowed casting a spell and shooting from a turret. After commenting out that line, I could cast a spell and the vehicle turret was still usable.

It seemed like caster arg was always null when I used a spell from RWOM anyhow. No clue if that's truly the case but it meant that commenting out that line had no negative effect on me

Regarding Hugslib, it appears RWoM only uses it for mod settings. Unfortunately, Hugslib functions are pretty solidly intertwined, it's not going to be trivial to spin just that functionality out. Consider it a solid "probably not". :)

Performance seems to be a concern of many, and with that in mind I feel it's better to only use what is needed and not load a bunch of unnecessary code. There's a lot of useful stuff in JecsTools, but it's aging and not very actively maintained. This way I have exactly what is needed for RWoM split out where I can update it directly if necessary.
