most of us have new time commitments elsewhere (Work, University, family, etc) so dont have as much time to make things for it. NQ also started to gain a reputation of laggy creations that were killing servers, combined with the game devs continually pushing buggy updates that break everything, we just dont really have the time to keep fixing whats already released, let alone building new things.

why did newquay go legacy, was it to difficult to maintain?

I've none planned since development was canned on it back when NQ went legacy, but i've provided the frame for anyone else to do so, and will create a list of any that are made and released, and will put links in the description to other people's modules.
