In my case i just couldn't feel confortable with a planet that could be looped in just a few minutes, i just can't see those as actual planets sizes

Nevermind, there is no weather effects on my starting planet... I never saw that happening in fu, lol. Great job with the mod btw. Traveling in starbound is very relaxing for me, im always hungry for more when i reach planet core - your work just hit that mole spot in my soul. Thank you!

I just started a playthrough with your mod and FU and i noticed no rain, no wind, basicly no weather changes in about 2 hours. Is it possible that the mod mess with it?

Until one day, I noticed that there was very little space left on my D drive, so I decided to uninstall the mod.:paperflag:

or meke length and width worlds proportions like 10x1, 10x1.5?

Please, can you make surface layer height smaller, like vanilla sizes? Because lurge surface layer is not realistic. I can hear forest/lush sounds in caverns below ~100 meters) and there is light too

although microdungeons is a separate setting entirely and for lag reasons is not touched by this mod
Lukiwarble  [author] Mar 28 @ 1:34pm
yes for all questions

A few questions.
Does this mod change the size of planets from mods like Arcana, Populated, etc?
Is it possible to make the surface layer as small as vanila size for realism?
And counts of dungeons and micro dungeons on planets increasing?

After finishing work on all those quest mods, I've finally started work on my bigger worlds project, as will be present within my newest collection: Epic-Sized Worlds Collection , of which this mod would be included within.

In addition to the Alternative Early-Game Quest Line for the Outpost mod that I've mentioned before, I've recently released a new mod that'll make dungeons more plentiful, yet no longer resource-intensive, for these kinds of epic-sized worlds: Village and Dungeon Biomes .

Stay tuned for more mods to come!

My OCD wont allow me to use these planet resizing mods because all of them mess with planet sizes in the Nav screen but not anywhere else. ie background images. I did try this mod however and its alot more fleshed out that the others.

yes, it increases the planet size and the layer size to match, as you can see from the image there's 13.000 blocks between the surface and the core

This mod does the same actions to make it a bit more realistic the size of the planet?, the desc not clarify me to much.

For example FU has a mechanic to make bigger some planets, in the others word you take a lot of time to reach caves, or the cores in some planets. Or reach the loop on the surface when u explore all the planet in the surface.

Im looking for something similar or better worked, since im not playing with FU anymore.

frackin universe
R4skall Aug 18, 2024 @ 12:45pm
where is that gps from?
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 18, 2024 @ 9:47am
tbh, the reason i made this mod is because bk3k's variable planet sizes was really fun to play with, but he never changed the layers to match the new sizes, so you ended with like 7.000 blocks of space layer, and it bothered me alot
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 18, 2024 @ 9:44am
it replaces the planet size and dungeon count, it wont crash but those features may be different
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 4:58pm
i see
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 9:20am
because im pretty sure those coords are the normal height you would spawn without this mod
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 9:19am
try putting priority 100 or something
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 9:12am
it will take a while but i will try digging down there
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 9:11am
as i expected thats all the way down to the deep underground
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 8:09am
im pretty sure those are the planet coords
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 7:49am
can you tell me your player coords? im gonna try to reproduce the issue
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 7:43am
ok that changes everything
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 7:37am
never saw that happening though
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 7:36am
if youre really in the deep underground then you will find the surface around 10.000 blocks above you
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 7:35am
i see whats going on, they do exist you're just spawning in the deep underground
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 7:32am
this could most likely be the the universe files from before the mod was installed
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 7:26am
oh wait i though i was on the diverse terrain mod my bad
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 7:21am
i mean i didnt even touch the sky layer
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 17, 2024 @ 7:19am
appears to be a mod incompatibility issue, i have around 800 and never seen that
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 12, 2024 @ 3:57pm
a new planet at least
jadabandon Aug 12, 2024 @ 3:54pm
I assume this mod will require a new play through as it will regenerate planets? Eitherway, I am def saving this one for my next play through.
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 11, 2024 @ 11:09am
yes, its compatible, i even patched FU planet sizes as well, its just commented out to avoid errors for those that play on vanilla
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 11, 2024 @ 11:04am
also updated the mod name to make it less missleading
A-Vladimir Aug 11, 2024 @ 11:03am
@Lukiwarble So me, and by your commend I take this is compatible with FU.
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 11, 2024 @ 10:57am
this mod is essentialy for those with a ridiculous amount of free time basically
Lukiwarble  [author] Aug 11, 2024 @ 10:54am
that only allows you to beamup in the surface and if you need to travel to the core and dont have the emergency beamup from FU you will have to travel 15.000 blocks to reach the core and then more 15.000 to go back just so you can finally beam up
A-Vladimir Aug 11, 2024 @ 8:18am
Why is it not recommended for people with 'no underground beamup'?
