You know, this sounds a lot better than the mods that make it only cost research, because now it feels... rewarding to figure things out, to get the material requirements for a research, because you use the things you got to learn the thing you want to make them into, instead of just waiting around for your research to tick up.

man after wasting 3 hours of my life gridding for 15k of research just to be hit with another 11k cost to build a machine that would process what i needed i just gave up about playing it fair. FU used to be really fun to play but the research ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is really killing it.
