i just started without an uniform.
Bug on my end due to mods or a feature?
the use of factions is actually kind of interesting from a design sense. While I could have disabled Vietnam army soldiers from spawning, in the end I kept them in to simulate the motley crew of nations the US had assembled that were stuck with old US hand-me-downs (plus, if I was going to require the use of SOG, I'd want to make sure you get to actually use it's content in the mission!). I do plan on disabling PAVN spawns in the update i'm working on, but that's slow going due to features i'm putting in.
In other news I had a Kamysh come by which I managed to avoid. I don't know if this was allowed or not. I've also found some Promet rifles in the loot boxes which probably shouldn't be there. I'm playing this run in the dark, as I forgot to enable the phone messages which should give co-ordinates of the airfields and strongholds. So maybe the strongholds are as the original mission, or maybe they aren't.
