You're right, and I've just figured out why that is the case. The next version will address this.
As a workaround, you can install the Crash Time Remastered Core components which prevents this problem (also the reason why I didn't detect this during testing).

selecting german only affects the menu and subtitles, the dub is still english

The German dub is included in the mod and should be available when you switch the game language to German.

It's possible, but I didn't include it since all subtitles are in one single text database which means every time the devs make changes I would have to adapt them.

In the English subtitles at least, the main characters are still referred to as "Nick" and "Markus" rather than "Semir" and "Ben"
