Hello, I want to preface with this mod is awesome. However ive encountered a strange bug with the greenskins and this mod seems to be causing it. The core mechanic for occupying at various levels works with every faction but with the greenskins on certain settlements both major/minor it bugs out the settlement and doesnt allow any other buildings to be built

The easiest way to explain is that every settlement has its main building that you upgrade with growth. Core mechanic of the game , when occupying settlements as the greenskins sometimes it bugs out and only gives the main building with no other building slots. Im not talking about locked building slots but as if it only has 1 slot total.

yo one problem i see with this mod is even if you take over a tier 4 settlement for example it will drop the captured settlement level down to 1 even tho it should be tier 3 upon capture

Lizardmen can now use Old Ones' favour to upgrade settlements.

Lizardmen factions who are not Nakai, are able to slowly accumulate Old Ones' favour via commandments and temple buildings. :darkangel:

I managed to implement the old ones favour to lizardmen in my forgeageddon mod, so I was planning on adding that here tonight and use that for lizardmen to upgrade.

I also hope to use this method for helfs to use influence and ogres food, but those mechanics works in mysterious ways, so will have to see. :skullz:

I realize that there is no support for Lizardmen! Would be able this feature to them, using either gold and/or their unique resource Sacrifices support?

I hate having to throw another mod in that covers the lizardmen, as it sorta jumbles up your work too q.q

Would love to, but CA made influence as something different than all the 'resources' you see here, however, as of this week I figured out a way to simulate problematic resources like this, which I hope to implement here for Helfs, Welfs and Lizards, once I wrap up all the stuff I plan to release this week.

So more to come, somewhat soonish. :ranald:

I think influence as unique resource for HE could work for occupation

They do affect the same, but no issues on my end running both with resourceful being above this.

However I just changed the table names in this one, so that they will supercede the same tables of Resourceful, since they somewhat does the same, hopefully that will fix the issue for you fellas.

Should it not work, it will be a few days, as I have been working the past few weeks on a big update for Resourceful/armourygeddon/forgeageddon, that I hope to roll out this thursday or friday if I can muster enoguh spare time to wrap it up. :ranald:

Yeah the latest CA hotfix pretty much blew up the different custom faction/lord mods, yikers. :WHII_Death:

I noticed a CTD when this mod was placed above resourceful purpose, but placing it below RP make them work together fine.

Perhaps this is the simple fix you 2 need. :ranald:

I also tried with only Resourceful Purpose - Compilation and
Provincial Tiers - Skaven Occupation Mechanic and I crash. I dont know much about the modding stuff, I just wanted to report.

Most likely some random imcompatability yeah, as I have seen some weird ones once in a while, but since you have both maps and know how to open RPFM, try deleting the 2 tables you mention in one of the mods and save it to your folder, just to see if that works for you.

I actually normally don't either, since the vanilla launcher is perfectly serviceable, but if I have crash on startup I'll push right to it to get a feel for what is going on.

IF it was adding Res Purpose after, I'd assume it would be conflicts over the mort cult xml, since I have a couple, but ofc that can't be it, or else your Res Fix mod would not work with it.

I wish I knew what else to suggest, but my experience with conflicts like this is that they can be really funny, and sometimes not actually crash as expected. And sometimes I swear some almost unrelated mod can make a change that basically masks the issue. So for all I know you essentially have another of your mods be "required" to smooth it all together, that I was not using.

Well they don't edit prestige per say, they both use in game prestige, one for building tiers with this mod and RP uses it for "crafting" aides/followers, which also works fine in my testing.

Those 2 tables are there to give Elspeth and Gelt prestige on equal footing with Franz and other Empire factions. One mod will just supercede the other, which is why I don't crash with them.

I don't use prop mod, wonder if that could prevent them from working for you. Hmm :spacemarineskull:

One is building_effect_context_expressions_table, the other is building_effects_junction_tables. Also the only two mod conflicts PJMM is reporting for Provincial Tiers. It mentions your custom prestige, so both appear to be specifically editing prestige for your stuff.

Crash on startup for me. Was solved after checking Prop Joe's Mod Manager, seeing this and your Res Compilation mod were both affecting the same db, and turning this off. I then decided the other direction, and my setup works with just this but no Resourceful Purpose.

I should have also checked any other mod conflicts, but it'd be a bit weird to have a db issue that only arises with 3 different mods, no?

I crashed with the empire. To be fair I use quite a few mods so maybe the problem lays elsewhere.

Alright fellas, lets figure this out.

I just booted up a fresh campaign with this mod as Empire and it works. Then I did the same with this mod and Resourceful Purpose, works fine and lastly with both and a bunch of mods that I run myself, all good.

Which faction did you crash with? Did you check with only this mod etc.? :darkangel:

Well then, your mods may actually have an incompatibility; both are editing the same db tables, which I believe is causing a crash when together.

I decided not to include it, as it was a bit out of the scoop imo, as that compilation mainly resolves around trade and custom resources if that makes sense. :steamsunny:
