what an interesting event ! Maximillian had so much potential, the Mexican Nobility and Conservatives were ready to back him but he tried appealing to liberals instead, could have made mexico a completely different kind of country then it is today. Many Mexican rightists going into the 1950s were ready for an Imperial mexico
