Yeah, Kill7X and I plan on doing a big update involving the GEOTU/Dark Emperor at some point, 'cause they are just bad in vanilla and feel even worse using this mod because of all you lose out on.

After becoming the emperor of the underworld I lost the ritual to grant governorship, ability to build statues and some other emperor stuff (didn't save before aptheosis, can't check what else is gone).

Cool mod otherwise, if abit overtuned with income. It was really funny to flood the forests with ambusher dudes

Imo this is a great mod, the only thing negative is that the Clericus Senatorius should not exist, and even if they do, they should not be able to be summoned. If they dont exist or are more difficult to get, your economy building would slow down, otherwise you just snowball into have 3 digits income too quickly when compared to vanilla. But all the other additions are great and i cannot play without this mod!

Then is it likely Senator Enhanced, its been a while since I looked ubt I'm pretty sure that mod adds its own ritual which there isn't much I can do about. The rituals should both work fine still.

Once again, thanks for the info, but the issue seems to persist even when it is just Latifundia, Limes, Legion, and Senator Enhanced.

Hi, you're experiencing a mod conflict, this mod makes the normal Raise Limitanei ritual functionally removed from the game, so another mod is either re-enabling it or is adding a completely new one; it also should have a description.

Raise Limitanei with Exercitus Logistician is the ritual you want to use from this mod; it raises limitanei like the normal one but also provides a Logistician who gives you small bonus gold income.

Hello there! The Clericus Senatorius and the Senator have two rituals: 'Raise Limitanei,' which costs 25 gold and has no description, and 'Raise Limitaneii with Exercitus Logistician,' which has a description and costs no gold.

Are the lack of description for 'Raise Limitanei,' and 'Raise Limitaneii with Exercitus Logistician' costing no gold bugs? Also what is the difference between the two, as both can only be casted at fortified locations.

If you're using the Illwinter Games Server you can't play with mods.

If you're using a private game server I have heard that you may need to edit the names of the folder and .c5m file to remove all the spaces.

If that doesn't work an alternative is to play hotseat using Steam Remote Play, just have there be 2 player controlled players on a team. That way you can play 'singleplayer' with 2 people.

question me and my mate want to do co-op but the mod wont go active. we have also the other mod of yours does that has something to do with it?

Thanks for letting me know, I've fixed the problem though this is potentially a save breaking update. I overlooked the fact that both the Dark Emperor and GEOTUW have their own ritual schools separate from the normal Senator's, so I've added all of the new rituals to both of theirs.

I haven't tested it so let me know if it isn't working properly.

It seems like neither this mod nor base Senator Enhanced's rituals work for the Dark Emperor > GEotUW path.

I'm glad to hear that it helped; Raise the Levies was the one I used to basically teach myself how to mod so I'm glad I'm not the only one it helped.

I've got a new class I'm working on that's about 40% done, and I plan to dust off a couple of wip classes I shelved a while back, so stay tuned. :praisesun:

Man I have to say I love your work Hsmasher, if it wasn't for Raise the Levies I wouldn't have made The Governor mod as the documentation within it coupled with all the mechanics was nice to read through and playing it made me think more about non-magical (or less magical) faction design.

Anyways having said that, I'm gonna tear into this with a senator game sometime soon.

The mod you said it's meant to be played with - Senator Enhanced - does include such a mechanic, though. (Also, another note, the reformed Legionary units have the same sprites as Senator Enhanced's Princeps Serpentis. Maybe have them use MA Pythium sprites instead?)

They mostly exist just to give the senator more of a chance against Hades/Inferno invasion events and mid-game summoner classes (i.e. bakemono or necromancer) - locking them behind Emperor progression is often counter-productive to that intent especially since this mod does not include any mechanics to allow the senator to become emperor in any game era.

I agree thematically it would make more sense but for gameplay purposes its better as is.

Adding an entire sixth Imperial cult might be a bit much to ask for, but as I suggested an aeon ago that would at least be cool.

Wouldn't it make more sense for the Sacred Legions to be tied to becoming a Divine Emperor? That way, it still takes the Senator player a lot of work and resources to match the lategame strength of mage classes. (Not to mention, otherwise who exactly is blessing the troops? AFAIK CoE Augurs don't have much religious authority.)
