That mod shouldn't affect this mod I think. You would have to ask Meetric, he is the one who created the actual fog entity. I am only using the entity clientside.

It's not possible to do that. The fog part is not my addon that's Meetric's and I just don't think it's possible to do that because of how the volumetric fog works internally.

Can you please add a convar so there can be certain lamps/projexted textures that won't get affected?
Using nightvision from one of the mods I worked on completely blinds me..
If you added something such as self.NonVolumetricLamp that if true cancels the whole volumetric fog code that would be really nice!!

Let me know if its possible and if so, leave me the variable name so I may add it to my mod for compatibility. Thank you!!

It will still save its setting between games. It just won't be saved per preset.

Even after disable dynamic fog it still persists to enable (even tho there's no check mark and it's saved) after starting a new game or going into a different map.

ah, looks like I forgot to set limits on the ConVars themselves. The gui had limits but the convars didn't have any.

It looks like most other players aren't having issues that heavy. Have you tried to reinstall your game at all? I haven't changed anything since release.

can you make a feature where there light comes through windows and things naturally instead of having to put a light where the window is, that would be really cool.

The reason this addon was created was to fix the problem that was caused by doing that. The problem was that the bigger the volume the less quality it would have. You would then have to turn the subdivisions up which would cause a lot of lag.

I mean it's an entity so it would be pretty easy. That's not due to my addon though. That's just how the fog works. I'm just spawning one clientside so individuals have their own fog effects.

Do you know if it would be hard to extrapolate this into being a preset map effect? Like if it were to automatically be put in the map and work as an environmental fog effect?
