remake the ocelot.

I'm not sure if a recent update changed how this monster behaves, but it seems to enjoy exploding itself now. I can't quite narrow down the cause, but it often occurs during startup, landing, and changing RPS.

What are the battery and ignition boosters for?

this thing is a beast and i love it, its like a abomination

nice helicopter, just a tip, you don't need the compressor starters running constantly (even though it's only a little bit of parasitic power draw and really don't impact performance), they're safe to shut off once the engine starts combustion (which is around 0.5 RPS)

This is an absolutely amazing creation and now performs the bulk of my operations on a dedicated server! We aren't able to fully shut it down though, an engine somewhere near the rear rotor keeps running even with the main battery shut off. Could there be a logic disconnected maybe?

hey, just wondering but would it possible to make a larger 4 rotor version of this. the idea i had in mind is everything the super caracal already has but larger, a larger rescue winch with more harness, maybe even doubling it. a larger, or more, hooks to increase the free carry weight, and a higher cruise speed.

Odd question but how do I turn it off I shut off power the turbines and everything but the engines wont stop and I dont see a rotor brake or anything.

To refuel, the fuel hose is located in the central beam of the tail. It is the only way to refuel currently. All controls are on the touchscreen on the central bottom panel. 1. Bring doyn the fuel hose. 2. Manually connect the fuel hose of the SC-B to the fuel reserve of your choice with a fluid hose (red "cable"). 3. Turn on the pumping of the fuel reserve. 4. Turn on the fuel pump of the SC-B. I hope it is helpful :D

@Jord, I also noticed that the hover (automatic position hold) is not perfectly stable. Here, i have the SC-B that is going forward very slowly. I use the MagAll of the rescue harness as an anchor when I can... :) The update of the autopilot PIDs is still on my todo list. I guess it should solve that issue.
@addison1231011, Thanks, i will change the artificial horizon. I know the HUD is overlapping some touchscreens. Those screens and cameras controls (maps and more) will be updated to avoid limitations on the controls as you commented.

this thing is SICK, i love it. I did notice however the artificial horizon panel has incorrect readings when rolling left it shows you as rolling right. It is also a little to big, it blocks the buttons on the touchscreen closest to the pilot. also i dont know how to refuel it.

absolutely love this!. i use it a lot and would just like to know if there is a position hold as when i do a rescue in the ocean it seems to float away and not stay in one spot :) probably just me and cant see it anywhere but anyway keep up the good work.

Hey, thank you, so cool to know that it worked for you and that it was quite fast. It is almost the same flow for me but i wanted to ensure.
FI means Fuel In: it turns on a big pump in the main tank to pump fuel in it.
FO means Fuel Out: it turns on a big pump in the main tank to pump fuel out if it.
RE: means Release the fuel or electrical connector.
I added one picture in the descirption to provide instructions about that. :) nw ;)

the refueling worked and it was fast took me less then 1 minute to empty the 2000L of fuel the refueling station had (on a side note what does the FI FO and RE mean on the refueling panel?)

I changed the fuel cable connector with a fuild hose anchor for refuel.
Let me know if you encounter any issue refueling now.
Being curious, how much time on your side to refuel the main fuel tank (or some 10'000 L)?

The fuel hose currently has a fluid connector. I plan to change it to a hose connector.
Plus, i will add some conncetions for fuel and elec on the fuselage.

I still did not updated it, but, yes, there is a fuel hose within the tail central beam. The controls are (displaced, currently in wip), some are on the central console, the rest of the controls are currently on the right of the co-pilot. Those will be updated soon, i guess ;)

is there a way to refuel it with the hanger hoses? (im very new to stormworks)

Were you on the ground or in the air/flying? Could it be a "stuck in the ground" situation?

It should not. Possible main options... Power Pos 1 or 2, too heavy, bug SC-B or bug SW, physic not in "High" in SW. Do you have more details about this "bug"/behaviour? Does it repeat if you restart SW?
What can always be useful with the Felida series, is to try to disengage the "Rotor Clutch" and then re-engaging it directly , those PID are funny sometimes.

I get it. The Super Caracal does the same here. I plan to remove the ropes I added on the outter fuselage. It makes it be too "heavy" for fps. The Super Ocelot is still on the list ;)
