Seems to be working just fine; pick up notifications only show in multiplayer when giving or receiving an item from another character, and sound cues work in both single player + multiplayer.
Also, ensure you have properly (re)installed Lua for Barotrauma after every game update.

I'm afraid I don't know how to help you further, sorry.
2. It wasnt a singleplayer game, it was multiplayer with some bots.
3. I do not see any related lua errors. It just seems to not work.
I'm not sure because I can't check, but I think I made that feature only work in multiplayer. The original idea for it came from someone asking for a way to see what items were given to them by other players, so I didn't see any reason to have it run in a single-player game as well.
Hope this helps.
If you have clientside lua installed, you will get the popup text like in the workshop thumbnail. If the server has lua installed, all users will get the sound cues if someone is moving items.
Mod doesn't work :3
Is there a way to see the other mods you made?
