Yeah, this addon feels like it was sent by god when replaying HL1 Co-Op lol

gmod is a fickle piece of junk that's just so malleable to my hearts content

Now it works! Problem was on my end, but still don't know why. Redid all steps, also unsubscribed, making sure the addon got deleted in Workshop folder, and resubscribed. Didn't disable/enable other addons that I had before.
Freya, addon ladder mechanics shown in the de_nuke GIF wouldn't work for me. Ladders would behave like normal unmodified ladders when trying to go down. Addon worked for weeks but suddenly stopped working. Now it's working and the difference is clear!

man its gonna be so funny if its about simple holster's holstering functionality in ladders

I wonder Rytis, what do you think this addon is supposed to do? Because, this is just so that your character tries to get into downwards ladders when moving forward towards a cliff. Because if you think this addon is about animations or other kind of fixes, then you are probably confusing this with another addon's functionality.

Thank you for instructions. Verifying game files resulted in 1 file failed to validate, but sadly didn't help along with disabling all addons and -noaddons launch option. Never had issues that needed a reinstall, but might try this option later...
Maybe someone else can confirm if addon is working for them?

Disabled everything except this mod and restarted Steam+GMod. Same result sadly.

Played on gm_windswept. Just tested on de_nuke with the same results.

Not sure, but it seems addon stopped working for me.

They are different types of ladders anyways, and asking you fix them would be pointless as those ladders can be accessed by just pressing "E" at a longer distance. Completely losing the need for a fix. Just like some of the ladders used in some areas of Half-Life 2.

yeah and it's not an entity that exists in gmod, even though func_ladder is just converted into a func_simpleladder on compile so it could simply be an alias for func_ladder in gmod

func_simpleladder is the left 4 dead 1/2 ladder

Not sure if this was reported by anyone or not, but this addon sort of sticks me to a prop when i use 'drive' on it in the context menu. But still, this is good stuff those brush ladders are a bitch

i don't know if this happened to anyone else but, when i downloaded this and went into the game it plays these annoying breathing sounds and says im saying *breathing* in chat and when i go to the pause menu it's gone and there's just a disconnect button at the bottom and when i press it it takes me back into the map. is this a cough virus type thing?
