@Yuubi the visual changes will probably only partially work as Frackin for whatever reason hasn't updated the albino adult poptop sprites to work with the new animations it adds to the mother poptop

Then i will play with the load order, maybe that will prioritize your changes!

@Yuubi having taken a quick glance at FU's alterations to the mother poptop loot table, they should both be compatible here, obviously the other changes my mod makes to the mother poptop will probably be overwritten by FU though

@Rye Katsueki well, I don't really have any other ideas in mind since I personally like the early game as it is with just this tweak involved.

I wonder if there are other ways of making the early game on Starbound also more fun. This here helps, but with the state the game is right now, you almost never have any reason to go mining.

@warmainiac there you go, you can get core fragments through defeating it with a hunting weapon now.

@warmainiac probably possible, but would require some lua scripting which is a bit beyond my capabilities as it stands, plus it's a little pointless when you only have access to tier 1 weapons on the starting planet. Making them a hunting drop will be much easier for me to do anyways.

@Armok, could you make the momma poptop provide core fragments if the player kills it with a weapon higher than tier 1? (like tier 1 provides zero, 2 provides 3, 3 provides 6, 4 provides 9, etc) if not then i can accept the hunting weapon

@warmainiac Yeah, I just wanted to give myself more of a reason to do mining lol, although that does mean that the starting planet will take a little longer than before rip. I'm thinking of making it so that using a hunting weapon on the Mother Poptop will yield core fragments again though

It did seem like the momma poptop (for me at least) became an unhealthy option for aquireing core fragments,
