Hope an update comes out for the crashes because this mod looks great.

This is such a cool mod, but unknown crashes brakes the game. Sad.

So I know you're looking into it, but I wanted to point out that my game auto crash the second I unlock the Chaplain tech while playing the Space Marines

so that might be the thing (or at least one thing) causing the problem

I have been able to replicate crashing issues. However, Gladius has not been generating an error log. So, I'm having some issues pinpointing the problem. I will have an update posted as soon as I can.

im getting crashes with this mod at the turn 15-25 range

The game just closes when I select Killa Kans, no error logs or anything...

I tested. crash happens when I use mods city ruins or wrecks mods. and forest when burn don't add damage effect. I think problem on it

@Kurziel I use only EBF mods what don't need ather mod for installations and it crash when I'm trying look up on it bestiary

@skoiapio Do you have other mods installed that might change the burna boyz or their weapons or traits? We just this mod enabled I was able to research, produce and use the burna boyz.

@Orionox Because the trees and the flames use different types of models, so to have both visually represented they have to be put into seperate features.

Thats fair, I imagine the compendium isn't used a ton. Also, why do we need burning forest AND flames thought? They seem like redundant effects, but I guess I don't know that

@Orionox Yes, this mod has a "flames" feature. I have updated the mod description to better reflect that. The missing elements are descriptions that are not used anywhere else in the game. I've never used the compendium, so I didn't feel it relevant or necessary to use my modding time to on them. Anything that would be in the missing descriptions should be in the mod description on this page.

Is this the mod that's adding the "flames" feature? Also, I've noticed quite a few of the mods in this series say "missing" in the compendium. Flames, Burning forests, craters, a few different city ruins all have a "missing" effect in the compendium.

Oh - those look great! And having the smoke as an additional temporary effect is extremely immersive!
Again, I adore the concept of evolving battlefields in general ... and having flame attacks actually burn the environment is just so atmospheric! Very few games do this, but I've always loved it, even if it is just an optical effect. This ... is even better! :)

@Grotzel Yah, it is using the same effect as the Imperial smoke screen, so it is already providing the cover bonus. :)

I removed the cover bonus from the burning forest itself, I didn't want to stack it too high.

Looks cool! Errr ... I meant ... hot. Looks hot! Could you perhaps turn it a little darker? It looks perhaps a little too much like the smokescreen effects of imperial factions ... not that that's necessarily wrong. Hmmm ... come to think of it ... it might be argued that it should provide similar protection from ranged damage ... Not that folks should really be encouraged to seek cover in burning forests ... but still. ;)

@Grotzel Thank you! I am glad you're enjoying the series! I am working on flame effects for this and the Wrecks mod, but I wanted to get some feedback on how the mod plays while I'm working on the flames. I totally spaced out on the idea of smoke, I'll add some in.

Once again, that's an extremely cool idea. :) Like your whole evolving battlefields series! Of course it would be tricky to add good flame effects ... can you add smoke? Turning the trunks black could help, too.
