I have a game freeze during enemy turns on 05.12.1941. Valantine investigated my save game and found out that an event is trying to spawn a unit through event but the unit does not exist/has no name . Then the game freezes because the code can no longer execute because of that unit with an empty name

@shagnasty : the corrupted Para is not the problem of this map. I play on avalon hill Europe and facing the same thing? i think it is something after the updates above 8... , because i played this map in late 2024 and all were fine even with the paras.

My thoughts would be instead of this tile that stays on the board/ Create a new ship called something like "Landing Craft Carrier" Give it a high man power cost of 10k or even 20k. It would have a similar fuel and range of a destroyer or battleship. Lastly give it the ability to have infantry spawn next to it (same as the existing naval reinformcents tile). This would make them a high value target for the man power and still give the ability to drop landing craft for infantry and other units.

Not sure if this is an expected outcome but we had one person take advantage of the Naval Reinforcements tile that can be purchased by the US (and I believe others) under the buildings tab. This has a cost of 100 with no man power and then has an output of 25 per tile. The down side is that they can be built in a continual line effectively making a bridge from a harbor to a beach landing. From what I can tell this tile is in place so that we can do landings from a staged area near a coastline since the landing craft doesnt have a very long range before they run out of fuel.

although is a very nice mod which adds an epic scale in the game in my case it freezes my pc completely when i save it and try to exit the game. even with alt+ctrl+delete i cant exit so i have to restart the pc.any thoughts of fixing that?thanks in advance

I was wondering, does anyone know of any diplomacy mods that make ai randomly go to war. Doesnt have to be crazy, just random wars, like 50% chance every 100 turns for coutnries around them, doesnt need to be complex just random wars not only caused by me. Also this is MOD IS AMAZING THANK YOU SO MUCHHHH THIS IS A DREAM COME TRUE

Such a wonderful MOD - been playing this with a friend and it's EPIC. Just as a note to the modder - Para's seem to be broken, they leave ghost units, can double stack on a tile (friend or enemy), and can only be killed by planes when deployed as ground units. We don't use them to avoid problems, but apart from that awesome

Its not dead. The mod creator is active in thread on Discord getting feedback and troubleshooting. I imagine they are waiting to get a bunch of fixes together instead of updating little by little

Map fails to load for anyone but the host in multiplayer. However, I have viewed in single player, such an amazing map, so well done. Wish I could play with others on this map though.

For diplomacy I meant the tool tip showing wars, alliances, and truces (not precisely Allies, Axis, etc.).

I'm having fun on this great mod. However I did uncover a few problems. With 70 nations the list gets cut off when trying to use the manage territory. About 1/3 of the nations are not seen. I think the list needs to go wide to see them. Instead of only 3 columns, you'd need 6 or 7, so all rows can be accessed.

A similar problem occurs in diplomacy. With so many nations, and the list of Allies gets large, information at the bottom of the tool tip is cut off. I suspect making more columns would do the trick (such as a column for Allies, one for Axis, and more for other diplomatic info).

Also Generals aren't giving bonuses because they don't have any unit filters checked. I don't know how many are missing their unit filters, but I checked Guderian, for example, and he should have armored and gun (artillery and anti-tank) unit filters checked, but has none.

Coastal Batteries are not able to shoot at ships? I think its a bug. Playing germany, the polish ships are coming to hamburg the first turns, and the batteries are not working.

This is a most excellent mod. It is clear a lot of love and research went into it's making. I am enjoying it a lot. Thank you!

One observation. When I save and then try to leave the game for either the main menu or quit the program it takes over 3 minutes to do so. It could be a problem with my 8 year old computer but I thought I would mention this here in case anyone else is seeing this.

I fixed the problem with Leningrad and Moscow. Somehow the event had no information inside. Its fixed.

very goog mod . all works properly. i'am playing as axis ( many countries ) and Barbarossa just started. All historic starting like yugoslavian campaign for example started correctly. For now excellent work ! Thx for sharing.

Hello,

A mod for 1942 or 1943 is not planned yet. I want to get feedback first from the 1939 version.

I was not changing the stats of the units except the range. The rest is like the base game from December 2023.

Regarding the sound I am not sure. Normally I play without sound. You can check with the Developer regarding your sound topic.

I checked the fast allies topic. I could not see that on my PC. But sometimes after many turns, this can happen due to the big size of the map. Then you only need to reload the last autosave and the problem should disappear. At least I saw this many times during the testing phase of the map.

so if i put fast allies while on war Germany me playing as Italy, they will not make anything and the bar will be stuck.

for the same stats the german flak 88mm costs 350 while the japanese type99 88mm only costs 280....
is that intended ?

ah i figured it out. this mod resets all my sounds to default and i must reset them in the editor.

can you make one that starts in 1942 or 1943? i would make it myself with your map but i dont know how to do the historially accurate events.

Thank you for the input. My first idea, was to use the AuthaGraph world map. Unfortunately the game is not supporting such maps as it needs a special way to move from one edge to another. So I decided to use the most common and unfortunately inaccurate mercator projection. Hope you still can enjoy the map.

I appreciate all the work, but a mercator projection is the not the most accurate map. Scandinavia, Soviet Union, etc. is FAR too big, and other places far too small. God I hate to whine about this, but I think all this work goes to waste based on an incorrect assumption.
