yeah but the speed after getting out of earths atmosphere is like a buggy zero g

this game doesnt really have orbits

how do i know when i am out of earth's orbit

@user try noclipping back into it for a second, sometimes it gets stuck but that usually fixes it

the bridge never retracts, there i am desperately spamming "Disconnect from tower", and it stays in the same place

@user did you throttle up and did you make sure the bridge actually retracted?

i click disconnect from tower
magnets disconnect
i try to launch
rocket collides with the bridge and completely explodes


is this intentional design

@KerbalMissile you do have to point in the direction of the moon when traveling to it, however there is no (realistic) way to get into orbit around the earth or moon

didnt someone make a microcontroller to a screen where it tells you if you're in orbit or not, I might be wrong but if you want to get to the moon you gotta keep turning meaning that proves orbital mechanics, just not visually shown in-game, aside from me just yapping about orbital mechanics the shuttle is pretty cool I like it.

@KerbalMissile the rcs controller is meant more for rockets rather than spaceplanes so thats why the controls are wonky. also, this game doesnt have orbital mechanics, so you can't get to orbit

Hey this is really cool but one thing I noticed the pitch for the RCS is backwards W goes up and S goes down. Otherwise really cool also how do I know if it can get to orbit?

ty it can defenitly head to space but it cant offically head to the moon its also my first time having the space dlc do you have any space ships that can land on the moon?

@Misery sorry but there is literally no space whatsoever in the shuttle for more fuel. believe me, i would definitely add more if i could

@Maple never planned for that scenario but theoretically you could send another shuttle up to refuel in orbit

So I got to orbit. In chilling there. But i don't have enough fuel to get back home. How do I deorbit?

@they are watching you turn the key and you're good to go. controls are different from the gimbal of the engines (wasd for pitch/yaw, left/right for roll) bc i didnt make the mc and didnt bother trying to change it

the rockets on the shuttle dont wanna start
