I used an overlay of the actual body texture to draw out everything where it should be.
I hope all goes well and it will be released soon
There is only 1 skin that can be used at a time
But I'm also typing this this at 2 in the morning
and therefore birds eat the fish and spread it further via air travel.
Thanks for telling me all this lore! bet i can make some amazing headcannons with this, usually very good at that.
You got me real hyped up for this, i'd imagine it's stressful with the burnout but you'll be okay!
The eggs are unnaturally durable surviving and thriving in extreme environments
Though boiling still kills them as it does with nearly any pathogens
They are incredibly dangerous due to their ability to spread though salt water
And a good idea I could add is something someone suggested as an addon to waterborne
Is infested fish
Making most fish infested means that all the fish getting exported out of the Caribbean would harbor the infection
And if not cooked properly
Could cause an outbreak
Of course all of this lore is merely speculation
I need to complete at least 1 of the textures to see how well it would work in 2D
But I do have some ideas on how to get it to work thanks to the fungal zombies mod
Can't wait to see this dude!! i absolutely adore stuff like this with the details so thank you very much for disclosing it, i love lore so much.
Sorry if i ask in the future in this comments about more lore, i absolutely love lore as i've said like a trillion times.
If the parasite thrives in high water environments, how would it fair inland (in terms of lore)? for example in March Ridge where there isn't really a large body of water?
Such as bodies of water and human saliva would be an excellent spot for their eggs
A bite could send them straight into the bloodstream
Realistically the end point of their life cycle would be throwing the host into a body of water
To spread the infection further
But I unfortunately don't know how to add that behavior
So it can only be stated in lore
It would give a good idea as to how the infection spread
And since the lore will focus heavily on the island of Kingsmouth
This would mean the parasites are durable enough to survive in the ocean
And not only that
It will give a good reason as to why your character never builds a raft
The water surrounding the resort is toxic
It's simply not worth the risk
would it spread through bites and salivia and such? just curious as i LOVE lore and details and all that stuff, that's pretty much why i use all your collections lol
That grows inside the body
Lays eggs and forms a colony that bursts out of the body and wraps around the arms and legs to control the corpse like a puppet
i combined human zeds with zeds with human animations and silent zeds and a hivemind so it's basically horrific to survive, doesn't help that i made them sprinters.
just curious what the new plague is btw, it interests me!
it's easy to use for any infection you want to create yourself
Right now I've been playing on Kingsmouth and really want a mod to pair with my Waterborne mod so I've been brainstorming a new plague
the hardest part of these is adapting the design of the zombies I create into Zomboid as it's hard to work with the 2D limitations
More will come eventually
I've just been severely burnt out
I've been accumulating ideas though
In the collection for this mod I used reanimating zeds to replicate it
And pyromania to add the ability to burn the zombies
And a more permanent solution
Not gonna lie I've certainly thought about it
I certainly could though my knowledge on prions isn't the best
i'd have to learn more
I spent 3 hours on it just frantically writing without stopping
I did that with the Left 4 Dead mod I ain't doing that again
