Last, I tried adding armours from both this and the AA mods to my pawns, and they could wear them just fine. The Barbarian helmets are invisible, but that might be another mod issue.
Hope this helps anyone. Try running outdated mods at your own risk, but do feel free blame me if you brick your game.
If I enable this mod's faction, it will reduce all other faction spawns to only one settlement - solution is to not spawn the faction.
There are multiple ways to rectify this: 1, if you use Vanilla Expanded, go to the VE Framework mod options, which allow you to add any faction you like (like this mod's faction even if you disabled it before).
2, and this might be a World Builder feature, right clicking any tile on the world map allows you to add a specific cation settlement.
3, dev mode allows you to add a random faction base.
under the <defName>pphhyy_Barbarian_BoneHelm</defName>??
or under the <ThingDef ParentName=HatMakeableBase">
go to steamapps\workshop\content\294100\3216459199\1.5\Defs\ThingDefs_Armor
and in the Helmets...xml files in the ThingDef tag add <generateAllowChance>0.1</generateAllowChance>
It keeps spawning on every faction whether it's a raid/invade/crossing/etc. That makes the other headgear appear less instead of having pawns with different helms or masks. It even spawn on the new VFE - Medieval 2 factions.
