that new one is not owned by the original author, but you can and should use it untill he comes back
it works standalone now
but it has extra features with MO if its update or you use a mod that patches MO to 1.6
or some kinda nonsense like that
also i have no idea which is better, thats your job to figure out!
and yeah to make it standalone we had to remove the armors from the recipe
maybe one day we will re-add some of the vanilla ones
Since this version removed all MO stuff without replacing them, you can craft amazing armour in the neolithic era for only 3 skulls since there is no longer any armour required in the recipe (the best armors still need the plate armor). But you cannot craft the most helmet in the medieval era, since you need a recon/marine/cataphrack helmet.
but is kooler with it
bad news! ive never tested it so best of luck enjoy!
Last, I tried adding armours from both this and the AA mods to my pawns, and they could wear them just fine. The Barbarian helmets are invisible, but that might be another mod issue.
Hope this helps anyone. Try running outdated mods at your own risk, but do feel free blame me if you brick your game.
If I enable this mod's faction, it will reduce all other faction spawns to only one settlement - solution is to not spawn the faction.
There are multiple ways to rectify this: 1, if you use Vanilla Expanded, go to the VE Framework mod options, which allow you to add any faction you like (like this mod's faction even if you disabled it before).
2, and this might be a World Builder feature, right clicking any tile on the world map allows you to add a specific cation settlement.
3, dev mode allows you to add a random faction base.
