the purpose of most of the game mechanics should facilitate the way the period did play out while allowing a clever player the opportunity to change that course for the nation they control. they went way off the rails especially with regard to institutions and technology, so thank you for trying to make a mod that course corrects with as much compatibility as possible.

this mod probably wont get any new 'content' but eu4/pdx games modding is quite simple, you could probably find a good video going over the basics

Any chance you could make this compatible with Extended Timeline? I've looked through the code and ET adds more "early" tech groups, like Barbarians and Romans, that have to reform into one of the major groups. Thought about doing this myself, but I am not familiar with EU4 modding.

Just gonna say, comments, if you don't like the modifiers the mod gives, then don't install it. That's what i'm doing, no need to insult the mod creator or anyone who wants realistic institutions as well.

It says "this mod is made for 1.37 patch." It giving me that warning you get for every mod that is outdated. I got all the dlc as well

pls make a modifier that gives any nation within the state of georgia a 999% buff to ducat gains and attack/defense :)

high american is what the fictional nations in random new world starts have I think it doesnt represent native americans

Just idea, would be nice if you could get rid of this modifier, something like americans who can get high-american group by playing good.

Maybe something like if you beat great power or west european nation you can click decision to get rid of this debuff or even get bonuses like discipline to show that you emerged as stronger nation. For those players who want to play as for examle Africans with additional difficulty and goal to strive to.

You were right - I had made a backup copy of the mod, zipped it, and put it in the mod folder in Documents and that was somehow causing the mod to break, even though I had that copy disabled in the mod launcher. Sorry for spreading fake news.
