- I would have to find all the classnames and format them for the config file.
- I would have to assess each weapon and assign them to a loot tier.
- Assign a price.
Doesn't seem allot but can take me weeks to do it manually (especially as I have other demands on my time) . For this scenario what I did was manually add in classnames one by one. Which I then assigned to different tiers. A smarter person may be able to think of a quicker way to do it though.
In my newer scenario i've moved away from the tier system and gone for random loot pulled directly from arma's config, which include modded weapons, and it's what I'll likely do going forward. If I was to update this scenario with my newer code I would have to strip out the reward mechanic of pressing ahead for better loot.
Either way, thank you for this mod. This is by far one of the better zombie sandbox scenarios out there!
Do you have a can opener in your inventory?
What's your approximate play time up to where you noticed this?
Are you running any other mods besides the essentials?
Worst case, restart with the bare essentials and see if it works. Then try adding some mods on top. Another thing you could do is create a specific mod list in the launcher for when you want to play Stranded.
To open the trader menu look at the laptop in front of the trader character. When the icon comes up hold the space bar or enter key.
Are you running any mods other than the required mods?
Wish it could also utilize stuff like Drongos Spooks and Anomalies, WebKnight's Zombies and Creatures, and Devourerking's Necroplague Mutants to the enemy roster (and in higher areas). Can't wait to try the next mission, The Long Road Home.
I've tried reloading the missions, reloading arma, deleting saves and also disabled all mods, but it doesn't fix it. Ill script my own mission then :) thanks for the reply Omega
The trader error, does this happen when you start the scenario for the first time or when you load a save?
Interactions will slow over time due to save game bloat. Haleks m3mory mod should help with this. At some point, cant say when, i'll replace ravage hold action looting with my own dynamic loot script which may help. I'll be honest though i'm a bit burnt out on arma and taking a break. Plus life commitments make it hard to find time. I'll still action bug reports though.

An "Error : No trader. Type 30" text pops in the chat when opening the mission. Maybe checking a scenario before updating the workshop version isn't such a bad idea.
I dont have allot of free time these days however i'll think about maybe cooking something up. Cant make any promises though.
Turns out all I needed was to disable some of my mods.... not sure which one was causing the issue, but I should've done this step from the start

Are you moving close enough to the laptop? You have move closer for hold actions than you need to with add actions
Have you been able to get the trader menu up at all since you started playing?
Are you saying there's an issue with your inventory? Does it work with other scenarios?
Sorry for all the questions just want to determine if there's a bug with the scenario
Fattoney, have you managed to figure out how to implement the scripts or would you still like me to PM you?
Some advice i can give though, you have to do the reading on the wiki. There's no shortcuts. Takes a while but its quicker than you think.
