the thing is i only have this, community framework, half construction cost, add war goals (mid-war), and power blocs expanded enabled, non of which affect politics as far as i am aware

i got no idea what is going on, if im like bugged or if this is intended, but im just like perma locked at god aweful legitmacy. Ive already tried to run the game twice, both times ideological compatability has been so low that even if the democrats win the election, it is better to have the republicans in government. But then it gets to the point either party can no longer do anything because legitimacy gets near 0 (democrats always do) and i just cant do anything about it.

I only have your mods enabled and the topbar framework and the Dixie/Yankee cultures lose thier Obsessions with small arms when i unpause, is that expected behaviour?

Does anyone know if this works with Patria Grande? I'd love for the whole continent to have more flavor but I imagine the province changes from Hail Columbia could be disruptive.

I hope we'll eventually get a Zimmerman telegraph and 'Over There' set of events too.

Ah okay in that case, mod works perfectly!

Side note I love the changes you made to early game - the tax and eco law adjustment makes you properly feel like early USA, severely lacking in central authority. Well done!

I do have a bug report for the Mormon event chain - in the option where I can accept the mormons, create the Utah territory, or demand they stop polygamy, I chose the last option, and after getting the refusal nothing happened after. I had to annex them manually

Question, is there anyway I can ensure the Mormons move to Utah and set up the Deseret state? Maybe its just extremely bad luck but in a few games I had, Joseph either dies or decides to leave the USA before the event to mass migrate to Utah

Wanted to share a bug I found in the event 40 Acres and a Mule

When the event for me fired, I did not have a leader with the radical ideology active, and so the radical redistribution option was disabled. Before selecting an option, I gave leadership to a leader with the ideology and selected the radical option.

The amendment was not added to the law because the section of code saving relevant leaders in scope had already happened, and thus no sponsor was set for the amendment.

@trupizza yea on 1.11 the set state name overwrote the adjective on top but now in 1.12 it doesn't, so you also get things like "Columbia Southern Columbia"

The localization for the new Aroostook region comes out as "New Brunswicker Aroostook" which leads to some funny titles in the events. It is probably bottom of the priority list but I figure the intended event name is "The Aroostook War" and not "The New Brunswicker-Aroostook War" lol

@VSterminator7 1. Theodore Roosevelt needs dedicated content around his administration, and I'd like to at some point add the Dust Bowl and Great Depression as end-game crises

2. Some kind of Party Nomination system in democracies where not necessarily the highest-clout IG gets elected as the president. Vice Presidents would be nice (usa version of head of state vs head of government split). Guerrilla Warfare as an actual mechanic would be much better at representing the Indian Wars.

Hi great mod. For some reason, when you defeat the confederates, you still get the event chain that the Union loses even though you've annexed the CSA, preventing the reconstruction JEs from launching.

Found a typo in the Creek Removal event from the start of the game. The flavor text says "-for they were yet to young to participate..." the 'to' should be 'too'

I'm stuck basically in a US where the slave trade is restored in all states, the abolitionist movement no longer exists, and yet there is still "a house divided" maakes 0 sense,

Hey, love this mod but I have massive issue, I can't complete A House Divided on the slavery side, because I easily suppress the abolitionist movement. You have 3 options, ban slavery and removal journal entry, have slavers revolt and remove entry, have abolitionists revolt and remove entry. My problem is I easily suppress the abolitionists into non-existence, therefore they never revolt, I restore the slave trade (in landowner playthrough), and now I'm stuck with the journal entry. Please add a completion option (with its own buffs and debuffs or whatever) to remove the journal entry if you remove never have civil war and the slavers reattain societla control. I'm stuck now.

@Coalsack yes Spanish-American war stuff is in the docket for future content.

I basically figure that the adam-onis border would not actually hold up under western settlement, and I consider province editing out of scope for the mod.

Two things, first, do you have plans for content regarding the Spanish-American war in the mid-late game (1898) and the potential anexion of Cuba, Dominana and the Philippines? Specially since the new DLC seemigly will add some Spanish content.

Second, once the main USA and CSA content is done, do you plan to make some "alternate" focuses. Say, if USA loses the Mexican-American war, to focus it attention on securing the Pacific Northwest and/or the Caribbean, the transcontinental railway changing focuses based on the first scenario, instead of going to, California, as in the default scenario, going to Cascadia/Oregon.

On the same vein of alternate scenario, one thing I always overlap with your mod is this thing https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3280805066 to get the Adams-Onis border from 1819-1846 right. But the mod is abandoned afaik, so I think you could alter the provinces shape around Oklahoma, Colorado, Wyoming and Kansas to adjust the border.

Just want to say that as a fan of American history, this mod is awesome. Reminds me a lot of Vic 2 GFM's flavor content for America (which I really enjoyed). Great work!
