Has that been done before? Extending the route and/or branch lines of the standard SDJR route. Could someone please send me a link if you find something similar? Thanks.

This is the current Heritage Railway by the same name. Meaning that route is much shorter than the orginal.

So is this the original SDJR route with branch line extentions that were not there before? I've created Free Roam scenarios for the route but I wish there was more branch lines. As I notice there are a few sections of track that drive off into no where. I suppose these "are" the branch lines?

@ANZACMonash-AAPG Daniel there is not much that he would need to clear up. I mean just visit the site he listed ( www.sdjr.co.uk ) and you'll find all the information you need to know.

@WP1996 Other than the main Somerset and Dorset Route on Steam and the European Locomotive and Asset pack I don't think you'll need much.

@THEDOCTOR: Yes there is well done. But that is the full SDJR railway set in the 40-50s era. While my route is the current railway along the line that the trust gas built at Midsomer Norton with it the era being 2013-2014

would have liked to see a S&DJR jinty, rather than the BR one. It was a unique liverie, and would look really cool. But no matter.

I'm up for anything to do with me local heritage line, sadly there are too many groups along there now all doing their own thing and yet the line is still 95% viable to run, a friend of mine who lives alongside the old alignment in Wincanton said Network Rail surveyors were spotted earlier this year, probably to do with relief line status reports and I had heard there is a consensus to extend the line from Frome back into Radstock as the line has just been extended for further freight use on the old GWR section there.

One of the reasons Radstocks biggest employer who made things like butters and spreads closed was it could not afford to bring in milk by road any longer and directly linked that factory's demise to the closure of the line as it used to get its milk from Wincanton.

This rute is it not very short...????
