idk what +rep does but i hope some mods are made with this cause this is very good
maybe one of these days weirdos will realize just how many games, websites, even things to do with internet security have furries coding for them... it's very funny to think about.
That said, this mod/framework is bonkers . I'm not sure I have an urgent use for it yet but reading what it does is so cool
Essentially when clicking a construction category tab it instead opens a new window reminiscent of a C&C style building menu, allowing to select from dynamic "group categories" - which i personally use for each faction in my mod - and then tab-based sub-categories for stuff like structure buildings, decoration, research and so on! Each part can be configured in xml, and any building can be added to it with a simple custom DefModExtension.
Also the style of the menu can be completely changed with custom textures, just need to adhere to the sizes of the elements!
More on this in the coming days.
You can check what it looks like on my TiberiumRim mod page:
https://psteamcommunity.yuanyoumao.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1346865620
But yes, this is merely a framework for other mods to use.
The description is not very easy to understand.
Compatibility is basically impossible to provide by default, as my pipe system is actual fluid flow.
But if anyone decides to use both in their mod, they can make a custom network comp which could handle conversion from one to another network.
My pipe system is more akin to Factorio, with actual pressure difference between containers.
It also uses a graph logic system to allow dynamic changes without rebuilding the entire pipe network on every change.
