Okay, figured it out. The issue is with the Site created by Nation Overview; it adds units that aren't in the actual lineup, and removes some others.

Gathering Sturm and Worthy Heroes aren't compatible, and Worthy Heroes isn't compatible with much of anything. If removing WH doesn't help, then it's Gathering Sturm

@towerdepths: that's a mod incompatibility, none of the units should be that cheap. They're quite expensive actually

Seems very fun - small issue though; some of the units only cost 1 Resource and 2 Supplies (namely, some of the strongest units). Was immediately able to break the game using a massive fielding of these units from the start. Has anyone else had this come up?

The Jinnun belongs to your army thus uses your own research. I can't make him neutral, I tried.

That'd be great. Alternatively, create an easier way to access the Great Jinnun inside:
1. a ritual that releases the jinnun but keeps it bound. Maybe give it homesickness or something. Maybe you could code it like a Mind Vessel spell from EA Rlyeh where each vessel has one jinnun that's active?
3.a battle spell that can only be cast by Vessels to "release" the jinnun briefly: high paths that require a Communion, and when it's done it summons a jinnun.

Sidenote: does the released jinnun have access to all spells like an indie pretender? It's got great paths, but having even the best mage show up randomly half way thru the battle and without any scripting is still pretty weak

Hmm that's a fair point, max 2 is kinda low. Part of their magic access suffers from me shoe horning in Glamour magic. Not making any promises but I can look at their paths again.

I wish the Vessel had another 100% random, especially an A/F/S random, they seem kinda overpriced (although I haven't triggered what I assume is their secondshape yet). It's a bit frustrating that these magical beings in EA don't have any recruitable paths above 2

Other than that, it's a pretty cool nation (i'm not familiar with the mythological basis, though)

Checked and filed a big report with Illwinter. It seems an interaction between immobile riders and storming sieges.

I'll have to verify but I think I know what that is. That would be a game bug I can't fix on my own but I'll have to check before filing a big report.

Very neat mod, just one minor issue I appear to be having. The Great Vessels are unable to take part in sieges, even with a bodyguard, haven't tested for leading an army.

Trogs have a face to hit I think like eye loss but they do not have a head or a crown slot. Mine can't take crowns or helmets.

Oh, maybe Im confused, since seeing that they have protection values for their head. Maybe thats still there even if you use the troglodyte body

They don't have a head slot? As for the brass plates, it's a thin brass layer, not sure that warrants extra armor. But I could dump their armor by a point in theory. That shouldn't swing balance to much.

Also I would love to see the high sorcerers and commanders have some innate armour to account for the brass face plate. If they have heads, that is!

All the unique national spells appear as "lvl 1 PATH is required to cast" for me. I don't have any other mods enabled.

This is a really neat mod! The theming and the sprite work are both really good. The units feel good to use, and having to rotate them back to labs to do repairs was a fun change of pace. I did notice what is probably a bug, where the corrupted hero shows up using the standard captain sprite instead of the really neat banefire blade and skirt of limbs sprite that's present in the sprite showcase. I was also running some other mods, including worthy heroes, so it might also have been an interaction between them.

No idea what you're talking about with the national spells. They're neither all on research level 1 or on path level 1. Are you running this with the debug mod?

Not sure if the wands are to good as is, I'll await some more data on that from other players. The 'centaurs' should indeed be size 7. Very much guessed that size wrong in D6.

Priest recruitment will be fixed next patch.

Cost is always work in progress. Costs might be a bit on the low side but on the other hand indies are overpriced. You can get a H1 basic priest for a low as 40g on some factions. But given his extra powers I'll probably bump him to 90. I do admit my sense of balance is still firmly in Dom5 land.

Great Vessel should be more expensive but not nearly anything like the Mallqui. It's significantly better in most respects and extra costly as a national feature. But raising it to ~600g sounds fair to me.

I must voice few balanced issues: All their national spells are lvl 1, your starting army including casters who are higher tier ranged units.

Also few design ideas (this is 'I feel it would fit better in how dominions do things'): Casters magical bolt should have hard mr check, Spell Guard should be size 7 not 6 (they are basically centaur Sol Aut. Since human centaur are 2 sizes bigger then regular humans I feel they should also be)

Also bug: Sol Aut Priest can be recruited without temples.

Really stellar spritework I especially love the Brazen Bull.

I think units and commanders especially are way too cheap. Take a look at Great Vessel and Royal Mallqui from Nazca. Yours has few less paths, tags and slots, but has way higher protection, health and amphibious while costing over 700 gold less. Sol Aut Priest costs less than independent one while being waaay better.

Spirit sight and animal awe on every unit is big alone. Generally, I think these prices would have been fine in Dom5 but in 6 everything costs more.

I could make the Nature on the Great Vessel be a N/E random instead. The nation already has quite a few paths though, to much diversity is unbalanced but only on a single cap only slow rec mage is probably fine.

So it's pretty cool! Strong units, feels good.
The descriptions have a few spelling errors and could use some smoothing out, and as far as I can tell, the nation doesn't have any earth access outside of the new pretender. I think the Great Vessel could probably also use a random path chance of some kind.
