In case you haven't seen it already, there is a discussion on the Comments Section of the BreakingFuse guide that covers that problem.

Resize and reduce the height of the video by 10 pixels. For example, if your .mp4 video is in 1080p, you have to convert it from 1920 x 1080 to 1920 x 1070. Vice versa for other resolutions (On a side note, I don't recommend upscaling or downscaling any videos using RAD, e.g, 1080p to 1440p). However, I find this to be quite inconsistent. Sometimes it works for some videos, sometimes it doesn't. I don't have any other solution to it, unfortunately.

Now you have the .mp4 of the live2d videos you want to use, you can immediately follow this guide by BreakingFuse . It's very detailed and easy to follow. If you encounter any problem during the process or the testing, you can head to the Comment Section at the bottom, and you most likely will find the solution there. However, I must add one thing: make sure your .bik file size doesn't get too big, otherwise your game will crash after you play a game. The size varies with your pc specs; 350MB is a good rule of thumb for this. My limit is around 500MB before crashing.

First of all, you need to own Wallpaper Engine on your Steam and have it installed. Second, you need to find the wallpaper video you want to use as your L4D2 background. Here's a step-by-step:
Open your Wallpaper Engine and select your chosen wallpaper/live2d vids. Click subscribe, and it will begin downloading the video. Once you're done, right click the wallpaper in Wallpaper Engine and click "Open in Explorer". Doing this will lead you to the source video file. If the source is in .mp4, awesome. If it's not, then you're in tough luck because this means there is no way to use this wallpaper. (Technically, you "can", but it will take you multiple Steam Discussions, Reddit posts, and hours. Trust me, I've tried doing that, and it's NOT worth it.)

I think I get what you meant. As for me, I didn't get or download those live2dvideos from YouTube. My main source of live2d for Blue Archive videos came from 吃枣 Workshop

Heyheyy. I'm unsure what you mean by "download the live2d vids." If you mean downloading the live2d videos in this mod, you can click subscribe and press Play L4D2. After you press Play, the game will automatically begin downloading the .vpk, which contains the live2d vids in a .bik format. After the downloading process finishes, you can close the game and follow the "How to Install" section at the top. However, if you mean downloading a normal YouTube video, you can use yt-dlp, although it's a bit technical and complicated if you're unfamiliar with computers. Another way is using Internet Download Manager. Let me know if some parts feel confusing.

YT doesn't let me and I'm too cautious in downloading from 3rd party applications/websites!

@シオン Unfortunately, no. To revert it back or disable it you have to "Verify integrity of game files". On Steam, right click your l4d2, then go to "Properties...", "Installed Files" and then click "Verify integrity of game files". Steam will start redownloading and replacing the background with the original one.

In case I want to uninstall the addon, does it get disabled by unsubscribing?

@End It's either hardware issue or there's something wrong with your game. It's not really necessary to use the command, but more of a suggestion. The Main Menu will still work perfectly, but it'll make the OST randomly cuts off. If you want to go try to fix it, you can try "Verify integrity of game files" your game and install the wallpaper again. Maybeee it'll work.

When I enter a command into the console, the game just stops responding at a certain point of loading. How can this be fixed?

@Strelok Test it a couple more times. It's random. Like rolling a dice, you can land on the same die face consecutively. Perhaps you're just unlucky and kept landing on the same background video repeatedly.

I installed everything as shown in the tutorial video, but when I'm in the game, it only shows me the background01 video and not the others. What can I do? I already used the "snd_rebuildaudiocache" command in the console.

@GothicDiabolic420 Go to Options, select Keybord/Mouse and then enable "Allow Developer Console". If you're curious what snd_rebuildaudiocache does, it makes that the ost didn't get cut off by the game and able to loop properly.

How do I change menu animations? I did all the steps but the last one, because when I type "`" to type in the command, nothing pops up for me to type what I'm suppose to.
